This movie reminds me about the tv movie 'Surviving: Tragedy' 1985. The teenager son (17)(Zach Galligan) who commits suicide with his girl friend(16)(Molly Ringwald)the families were really good friends and were close. There was some really great acting as well and very emotional scenes. Child Actress Heather O' Rourke (little girl Carol Ann from Poltergeist movies)she was just so adorable she played the youngest child of 'Rick's family she played so well full of emotion, concern.
That is so sad. I have read the book of the real family/relatives, friends ect. And it has some very nice memories of this wonderful little girl from people who knew her and her family. The scene at 4:16 of the house does not look right to me I think it is a set because if you look at photos of the actual house there is a tree missing and the dormer windows are arched... not rectangles like shown. also the chimney on the dormers is too high. they must have built a model? But most of the scenes appear to be the actual house so im stumped.
JonBenet's father is kinda stupid for moving his daughter's body, and you'd think the investegators or whoever would tell him to keep her body there so evidence won't be destroyed like it was. there is still some hope that her muder will be solved, hopefully John's lifetime. Remember now that John Ramsey (along with everyone else in the house) was very distraught so he may not have been thinking too clearly at the time. Also, he may not have known what rigor mortis was at the time. Does that answer your question?
It's called rigor mortis. That's a chemical reaction in the muscles that causes them to go stiff like that. My friend is an embalmer and she told me that it usually takes about 8-12 hrs after death to get that stiff. It's completely gone in another 8-12 hrs after it begins. Even though a "doll" was used in that scene, that's how "rigored" JonBenet really was. Can you imagine having that terrible memory of how he found his daughter? Poor John Ramsey.

JonBenets body will be nothing but a skeleton now, her skul wil be matted with hair though and her skeleton wil still be wearing that crown and that bracet. The stuffed cat will have decomposed as well. Pretty sad image eh. Rest in peace jonnieB

and the little girl who played jonbenet in the movie was not allowed to play her dead. her parents would not allow it because they thought it would upset her to pretend to be dead. they even made her see a counselor.

The scene at 4:16 of the house does not look right to me I think it is a set because if you look at photos of the actual house there is a tree missing and the dormer windows are arched... not rectangles like shown. also the chimney on the dormers is too high. they must have built a model? But most of the scenes appear to be the actual house so im stumped.

JonBenet's father is kinda stupid for moving his daughter's body, and you'd think the investegators or whoever would tell him to keep her body there so evidence won't be destroyed like it was. there is still some hope that her muder will be solved, hopefully John's lifetime. Tragic story, i started crying so bad when the person who plays Pasty saw her daughter :(

well yea, I know that. I have always said that, because I know that is one of the reasons why they were under the "umbrella of suspiscion" because he moved her body, but I would do the same thing if I saw my child lying on the floor and not moving.

Poor baby.. But when John found baby Jonni B she was so stiff, her body really was that way when she was found, I forgot what it was that makes dead bodies do that... But for the movie they probably did use a maniquen.

Well yeah in the movie it is a doll but after a while after a bodie dies it stiffens up for a bit, then it returns to normal. I forgot why it does though.

Remember now that John Ramsey (along with everyone else in the house) was very distraught so he may not have been thinking too clearly at the time. Also, he may not have known what rigor mortis was at the time. Does that answer your question?

It's called rigor mortis. That's a chemical reaction in the muscles that causes them to go stiff like that. My friend is an embalmer and she told me that it usually takes about 8-12 hrs after death to get that stiff. It's completely gone in another 8-12 hrs after it begins. Even though a "doll" was used in that scene, that's how "rigored" JonBenet really was. Can you imagine having that terrible memory of how he found his daughter? Poor John Ramsey.
