  • how much would it be if you sold it?

  • @darkreaper500 I don't want to sound rude, but I have quite a bit invested into this car. There have been a bunch more mods done since this video. New 4-link rear suspension, mini-tubs, Fikse wheels, stage II T56 tranny, new Spec stage 3+ clutch

  • sounds like God gargling tanks

  • That there is a beautiful 69, you people are stupid for thinking its a 67 or 68. hahaha, awesome car man

  • That's a 69 no doubt about it. Look at the lines at the fender wells. 69 was the only year that happened. I cant believe you people didn't know that....WOW. Roogie1394...your a dumb ass

  • @Roogie1394 yeah ill bet u it's a 69

  • first reason it doesnt have gill on tha side but if it does im sorry for the confusion but i cant see them they would be on the rear ppanels in front of the rear wheels and with that said im thinking its a 68 but the 69 is a more known year for a camaro i myself would no because im a car enthusiast and have a 67 camaro

  • @Roogie1394 well the 68 looks like the 67 but the 68 dont have the side vent windows and the 68 had side marker lights other then that it would look like the 67 if it had the vent window and no side markers i should i use to have a 68 now i have a 69

  • yea i know you basically told me what already knew and not sure but i think you agrees its not a 69

  • @Roogie1394 no its a 69 camaro

  • @Roogie1394 if u cant tell that thats a '69 camaro...A) u must like rice burners or euro trash B) ur an idiot and C) ur unamerican

  • The fenders are square and not round it's a 69.

  • I'm the owner of this car, it's a '69 can't you read the video title lol? The quarter gills are an optional trim piece that I never installed.

  • @Roogie1394 bud, lmfao are you stunned its obviously a 69 camaro.. what a guy tryin to tell the guy who owns the car that he doesnt know what year his car is :S

  • i have that motor! lol beautifull car man! cam sounds great, and the paint is gorgeous. thats a mans car:)

  • man that is one nasty camaro. looks and sounds awsome

  • What color is that to be exact send me a message letting me know please

  • BASF Glasurit Candy Red over a silver base. There are about 8 coats of red for this shade. Plus the clear.

  • thats how im gonna do mine but strait black with a 502 (hopefully)

  • nice bro i am in the process of building mine right now but its a 68

  • what color red is that i wanat to paint my camaro that color

  • looks possibly like a candy apple red with pink flake?

  • That thing is just simply killer. You are a mad man.

  • nice ride man.

  • beautiful car, if it were mine, only thing i'd do to it would be spend some money getting custom rocker/engine covers that say CAMARO or CHEVROLET.

AWESOME RICE EATER THERE, WELL DONE

  • oh, forgot to say, perfect grill and lights and so on, too

  • OMGGGGGGGGGGGG thats actually EXACTLY how i would do it up, except for under the hood, cause im a power feind lol, youre actually making me mad that i dont have this car :(... oh, and i'd paint the spokes and most of the hubs of the rims, but other than that, perfect paint colours, perfect paint layout, perfect interior, perfect sound!

  • Wow. I've seen a LOT of badass Camaros... but if I had a first gen, that's exactly what I would do with it! She's perfect.

  • Those wheels look stupid on a muscle car.

  • They're called cragars. And if you were alive during the 60s or even 70s you'd know a bit more about deepdish chrome cragars and their extensive history with muscle cars.

  • Aren't those Torque Thrusts though? Correct me if I'm wrong. And I don't mean to disrespect this man or his car, because if he likes them, they're the best wheels in the world.

  • acually these are torque thrust II's similar design though just longer spokes and are usually aluminum these are probley 17's or 18's thats why he probley dont like em

  • In my best Bill Lumberg Office Space voice)

YEAhhhhh, Im gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there.

  • cragar mags look stupid on a muscle car? theyre MEANT for muscle cars. theyre the classic muscle car rims. lolz

  • people have different tastes, i like camaros bone stock how they came out of the factory, and other people like their cars resto-modded like this one. this is a great example of a resto-mod and its a great looking car

  • thats the nicest camaro iv seen for a long time. Good too see people still respect the old school muscle

  • when you put an ls7 into a camaro you still get 25-28 mpg right?

  • heh... thats an ls1 my bad

  • super clean nice =)

  • beautiful

  • Nice camaro dude, i'll get another one, I had a 67 RS but sold it :(

Now i want a 69 so bad, i don't give a crap what it's history was, i'll make it too what i want.

  • that is as close as you can get to perfection. Torque thrusts II's are kinda cliche now a days but damn do they look good when they are on the right car. Bowtie forever!

  • NICE ,VERY NICE, I LOVE IT

  • If I were to buy a 69 how much do you it would cost to put an LS1 in? Engine plus installation?

  • $6,500 for a used LS1 plus Trany (31,000 miles) *includes installation, - additional if computer needs tunning due to mods.

    my estimate to you.

  • Check a few sites: lateral-g(.)net pro-touring(.)com or ls1tech(.)com for more info

  • about $6,500-$7,000 used. installation is about another $900 bucks. i did that setup to my 69 Z28 but i bought an LS6 and put LS7 heads in it.

  • If this were a woman Id make sexy time with it...and holy crap its EFI 6spd

  • i think this might be the most beautiful thing ive ever seen..ever

  • That one hell of a Mean car

  • I want a LS7 in my 4th gen camaro soooo badly, plan on going for a swap when i get it paid for in a couple months, I'm jealous man u got a classic with some of the best power you can buy under that hood. great car! i guess i don't need to tell you to enjoy it!

  • gnarr, sex wee!

  • oh i want that motor for my mova. That really is a nice ride!!!

  • WOOHOOHOOHOO THAT IS SWEET!!!!

  • Doesn't get any better than that.

  • Thanks guys, car just made 452 rwhp and 425 rwtq on the dyno. N/A 346 with cam & heads. Search for "69 dyno" and watch the vid my buddy posted.

  • I need a shower and a smoke now........

  • fuckin A

  • I agree RCNDAVE. This is HONESTLEY one of the best 69's I have ever seen. Rybar, I hope u take pride in that car because a lot of people would. I'd be scared to drive it because u have to worry about idiots who cant drive smashing into u!!

    Excellent Vid man 10/5

  • ..AWESOME...beautiful..total package...NOTE - to the owner - THIS IS ONE THE BEST 69's..I have ever seen..

  • Thanks bro, it was alot of work, time and money!

Headers are Stainless Works to the guy below.

  • Just wondering if you had any work done at ABIR auto marine? Car looks like the picture inside the shop.

  • Never heard of them. Where are they located?

  • dude its even a rs...i love that car

  • Fucking gorgeous!! That color is amazing, type of headers?

  • wow!!! nice ride

  • sounds good can i have it?

  • what kinda of rims r they i have a 64 dodge 440 that would go realy good wit them

  • American Racing Torque Thrust II. These have to be the most common rilms for classic cars ever. lol

  • I envy you bro...lol

  • SWEET!

  • mna you have a gorgious car. sounds amazing. not too fond of those type of rims but this car plays them off really nicely. congrats on a badass ride.

  • What size is the engine?

  • Stock 2002 LS1 which is 346 ci

  • absolutely gorgeous car man. sounds awesome to. but I know that isn't stock, even in your description you list etp heads, and that thing definitely has a pretty good size cam in there. maybe stock bottom end but not top end. what cam did you go with?

  • If you read below, the bottom end is stock, the top end is ETP 215's and a Texas Speed 233/239 cam.

  • my bad. not all those showed up when I was on this page, just saw that you said stock 02 ls1. sorry bout the confusion. very nice looking car. what color is that?

  • Candy red over a silver base tri-coat. House of kolor makes a similar color, not easy to paint or repair though.

  • I would kill to have this sound...

  • what kind of cam do you have

  • Texas-Speed 233/239 112 595"/.603"

  • nice paint job man, sounds mean. clean job on ls1

  • how much do u for that car i want that car

  • Sorry, it's NOT FOR SALE

  • WOW VERY VERY NICE

  • beautiful camaro

  • man i got the x11 ss 350/TH350/3.73.. nice car

  • fucking sexy

  • WOW, Im soooo jealous. Very, very nice and tasteful

  • I just jizzed my pants..oh damn..

  • Fuckin Sweet!! U ever took her 2da strip? If so what she run?

  • if he did take it to the strip, since it has a 5.7 L ls1 engine and exhaust, im guessing mid 12s.

  • I never thought I would ever say this... perfect

  • awesome!

  • How high is your cowl induction hood? What color red is that and do you have the color code?

  • Hood is a stock GM cowl hood, I think they are 2". Color is a Candy red over silver base tri-coat. You can get this color from House of Kolor and some other manufacturers.

  • would ever sell this? and if so, how much? its fcking beautiful bro.

  • Sorry man, Not for sale. Put too much effort into this. You can read about it/see more pics on lateral-g(dot)net

  • lol i can see that and it paid off. but is this an original camaro body from 69 or did u buy a crate body and build the rest from there? and about how much did this all cost?

  • This is an original '69 Camaro RS, 4-speed V8 car. Frost Green w/ green interior, vinyl top. It was a rusted out POS when I started. If you check lateral-g website you can see pics of what i started with. I won't post costs but it was alot... lol

  • lol nice but when i went on the site it was mad busy so ill check later tonight and i have a high speed broadband t3 connection and the site was loading slow. the only thing i got onto on that site was the 69 camaro with the ls7 and i want to do that so bad. just without having all the probs of building a car. lol

  • On the Lateral-g main page of the site, there is a link to my car with story and pics of the build. There are alot of other nice rides on there that put mine to shame. Join the forum it's a great site.

  • yea. i love old camaros with both old muscle engines and new muscle engines like yours. im still deciding to put either like yours a ls1, ls2, ls6, or ls7(lowest it cost is 11,970 i saw tho) depends how much i want to invest and what else i put into the car. the paint is most definitely lemans blue with dual white racing stripes ;)

  • If you can afford it, LS7 all the way.

  • next year i heard this that they are lowering the price to 12,000 direct from gm which means on other online sites that normally sell it for 11,900 it would most likely be 8 or 9 thousand which is amazing for that kick ass engine. the only thing that is bugging me is the headaches of getting it to start so i might have it professionally done which might cost a few hundred or even a few thousand. which did u do?

  • I went with a harness and tune from John at Speartech(dot)com. I know he makes them for the LS7. For motor mounts, oil pan and a NICE set of headers I would deal with Tyler at ATS or t56kit(dot)com, they sponsord Mark Stielow's Camaro X wich is a 69 Camaro with an LS7 & T56 it was featured in a recent HOTROD magazine and is alo on Lateral-G as well. You can also search for alot of info on LS1tech(dot)com in the conversions & hybrids forums for alot of useful info.

  • iight thanks. in a few years i might just buy a used refurbished(or not) ls7 cause they are already broken in so u dont have to worry about breaking it in. and it would be half the price as a new one. lol its the same shit and yea it may have some problems but the engine wont stay stock for long cause i want to be able to do a 200 foot burnout just by flooring the pedal. lol now thats an advantage of american muscle. the ability to have fun with ur car and do some fishtails. lol

  • thanks for the site dude, best muscle car site on the net!!!!!

  • awsome dude!!!! cant wait till mines done.
