@darkreaper500 I don't want to sound rude, but I have quite a bit invested into this car. There have been a bunch more mods done since this video. New 4-link rear suspension, mini-tubs, Fikse wheels, stage II T56 tranny, new Spec stage 3+ clutch
That's a 69 no doubt about it. Look at the lines at the fender wells. 69 was the only year that happened. I cant believe you people didn't know that....WOW. Roogie1394...your a dumb ass
first reason it doesnt have gill on tha side but if it does im sorry for the confusion but i cant see them they would be on the rear ppanels in front of the rear wheels and with that said im thinking its a 68 but the 69 is a more known year for a camaro i myself would no because im a car enthusiast and have a 67 camaro
@Roogie1394 well the 68 looks like the 67 but the 68 dont have the side vent windows and the 68 had side marker lights other then that it would look like the 67 if it had the vent window and no side markers i should i use to have a 68 now i have a 69
@Roogie1394 bud, lmfao are you stunned its obviously a 69 camaro.. what a guy tryin to tell the guy who owns the car that he doesnt know what year his car is :S
OMGGGGGGGGGGGG thats actually EXACTLY how i would do it up, except for under the hood, cause im a power feind lol, youre actually making me mad that i dont have this car :(... oh, and i'd paint the spokes and most of the hubs of the rims, but other than that, perfect paint colours, perfect paint layout, perfect interior, perfect sound!
They're called cragars. And if you were alive during the 60s or even 70s you'd know a bit more about deepdish chrome cragars and their extensive history with muscle cars.
Aren't those Torque Thrusts though? Correct me if I'm wrong. And I don't mean to disrespect this man or his car, because if he likes them, they're the best wheels in the world.
acually these are torque thrust II's similar design though just longer spokes and are usually aluminum these are probley 17's or 18's thats why he probley dont like em
people have different tastes, i like camaros bone stock how they came out of the factory, and other people like their cars resto-modded like this one. this is a great example of a resto-mod and its a great looking car
that is as close as you can get to perfection. Torque thrusts II's are kinda cliche now a days but damn do they look good when they are on the right car. Bowtie forever!
I want a LS7 in my 4th gen camaro soooo badly, plan on going for a swap when i get it paid for in a couple months, I'm jealous man u got a classic with some of the best power you can buy under that hood. great car! i guess i don't need to tell you to enjoy it!
I agree RCNDAVE. This is HONESTLEY one of the best 69's I have ever seen. Rybar, I hope u take pride in that car because a lot of people would. I'd be scared to drive it because u have to worry about idiots who cant drive smashing into u!!
absolutely gorgeous car man. sounds awesome to. but I know that isn't stock, even in your description you list etp heads, and that thing definitely has a pretty good size cam in there. maybe stock bottom end but not top end. what cam did you go with?
my bad. not all those showed up when I was on this page, just saw that you said stock 02 ls1. sorry bout the confusion. very nice looking car. what color is that?
Hood is a stock GM cowl hood, I think they are 2". Color is a Candy red over silver base tri-coat. You can get this color from House of Kolor and some other manufacturers.
lol i can see that and it paid off. but is this an original camaro body from 69 or did u buy a crate body and build the rest from there? and about how much did this all cost?
This is an original '69 Camaro RS, 4-speed V8 car. Frost Green w/ green interior, vinyl top. It was a rusted out POS when I started. If you check lateral-g website you can see pics of what i started with. I won't post costs but it was alot... lol
lol nice but when i went on the site it was mad busy so ill check later tonight and i have a high speed broadband t3 connection and the site was loading slow. the only thing i got onto on that site was the 69 camaro with the ls7 and i want to do that so bad. just without having all the probs of building a car. lol
On the Lateral-g main page of the site, there is a link to my car with story and pics of the build. There are alot of other nice rides on there that put mine to shame. Join the forum it's a great site.
yea. i love old camaros with both old muscle engines and new muscle engines like yours. im still deciding to put either like yours a ls1, ls2, ls6, or ls7(lowest it cost is 11,970 i saw tho) depends how much i want to invest and what else i put into the car. the paint is most definitely lemans blue with dual white racing stripes ;)
next year i heard this that they are lowering the price to 12,000 direct from gm which means on other online sites that normally sell it for 11,900 it would most likely be 8 or 9 thousand which is amazing for that kick ass engine. the only thing that is bugging me is the headaches of getting it to start so i might have it professionally done which might cost a few hundred or even a few thousand. which did u do?
I went with a harness and tune from John at Speartech(dot)com. I know he makes them for the LS7. For motor mounts, oil pan and a NICE set of headers I would deal with Tyler at ATS or t56kit(dot)com, they sponsord Mark Stielow's Camaro X wich is a 69 Camaro with an LS7 & T56 it was featured in a recent HOTROD magazine and is alo on Lateral-G as well. You can also search for alot of info on LS1tech(dot)com in the conversions & hybrids forums for alot of useful info.
iight thanks. in a few years i might just buy a used refurbished(or not) ls7 cause they are already broken in so u dont have to worry about breaking it in. and it would be half the price as a new one. lol its the same shit and yea it may have some problems but the engine wont stay stock for long cause i want to be able to do a 200 foot burnout just by flooring the pedal. lol now thats an advantage of american muscle. the ability to have fun with ur car and do some fishtails. lol
how much would it be if you sold it?

$6,500 for a used LS1 plus Trany (31,000 miles) *includes installation, - additional if computer needs tunning due to mods.
my estimate to you.

about $6,500-$7,000 used. installation is about another $900 bucks. i did that setup to my 69 Z28 but i bought an LS6 and put LS7 heads in it.
