@MegaShanked if they are still available at a hockey store, then around 300-400 dollars canadian. the bauer x 7.0 are very similar to the x60s. if you want true swag, with comfort, get the apxs.

Hey I was wondering I have a bauer bump on the back of my ankle from wearing bauers which did not lock my heal in place... I switched to graf and they lock my heal in place well enough.. So do you know if these really lock your heal in place like grafs do?

@dancarr60 Not really. All bauer skates have a relatively shallow heel pocket / heel counter. You'll have to get the area punched out.

@ryanmarkie get what fits fit is the most important thing and anyway the one 100 is just a one 95 with changed graphics and a new toung and it has a slightly biiger fit as apposed to the vapor which is a little more narrow

lol i just traded in my u+ and got these...i dont recommend the ccms...the back tounge part thingy ripped they all bend back.....my local hockey shop is returning 10 of them....so i dont suggest ccm now....sadly ccm was always my favorite but i practiced today first time with these and the bauer x60 r like unbelievable

right away i thought they were the most comfortable skate ive had. I didnt really notice any weight difference between these and the 40s. it did take a few shifts to get used to them but it once i did they were incredible.....definately worth the wait

I just bought my x60s on Friday and got a few shifts in them, gonna try again tonight. The first thing I thought was it was the most comfortable skate I've ever tried on but it did seem to take a few minutes to get a good feel for them. Felt almost magnetic to the ice, overall i love em so far but i need a few more skates to get a clear review on em

X:60 means X:60 simple as that. roman numerals don't use any digits at all. Bauer no longer uses Roman numerals. if they did then it would be LX for 60, L for 50, XL for 40.

I went from the XXX to the X50, and the X50 boot was too high up. I felt like I couldn't turn as well and it seemed like I had less control over the skates. The back was so stiff that I had to bake the thing a second time so I could pull it back more. Although this solved some problems with crossovers going backwards I still didn't have the movement I needed to accurately position myself on the ice.

Nope. Vapors are easily the most used skate in the nhl. These are bad ass.  The new u+ is supposed to be way better than the old one, which blew balls, but I would still go with vapors.

The X60 is a pro level skate. Youth players wouldn't be Bauer's target demograghic and, therefore, aren't implementing features aimed at kids and their habits.
