Volkswagen and Chevy corvair copy kits of the Ford GT made in the 60's and 70's are rear engine like that one but did not have the air intake on the front. Those are old school. Some built V8 rear engine customs back then that turned out great. There are now other companies building rear engine v8 cars. Could be a kit built on a Pontiac fiero also but need to see technical parts of the car to ID it. The bodies all look pretty much the same.
@2066241 You're probably right. Fieros are the preferable basis for replicas. Wouldn't mind having a Zonda Cinque replica myself.

Most certian it is a Fiero rebody kit. Google Fiero GT40 and you will see others!
