The 86 one was officialy known as 600hp.

But all the GrB cars in 86 was more powerfull then that.

The Audi was closer to 700hp on its last evolution. (and 950hp for the Pike's Peak version)

For me, the Audi hade the best sound ever for a Group B rally car.

@Villou007 WRONG !!! highest group b audi haved 630 hp and pikes peak version ( walter rohl ) haved around 600 i think 630-650 and audi quattro was first car that they get more grip from huge wings

I spoke to a private owner of one and he showed me the dyno sheet... 701hp at the engine and 650 at the wheels.

And the S1 E2 has the record of 0-60mph (0-100km/h actually) on GRAVEL in 2.8sec...

@Villou007 That is not correct , the pikes peak Quattro is indicated with 598 Hp .

The S1 is indicated with 530-560Hp .

You may add - 50Hp but not more . 950 Hp for Pikes Peak is much to high .

After the Group B was banned some S1 where used in Rally Cross with 650 +/- Hp .
