i found that wen u want to make a long but no to long hemp necklace using the thick hemp. if u want to make a necklace the hangsmuch lower than a chocke one, u'll need 4-5, i kno the video said 3-4 and expertvillage is good at makeing that estimastion, but i would personally say maybe go the little extra lenght and go for 4-5 times the final lenght.

Fucking bathe? if you don't bathe, it's going to absorb your sweat and stink.

Take off your hemp jewelry before bathing, as it can take the hemp a long time to dry, or it may not dry at all in the center between baths and will mold and smell.

Or, if oyu've had the same piece for a really long time, you may just have to toss it and make/get a new one.

I know you wrote this a month ago and your problem is probably already solved.

But hemp necklaces smell better and are more flexible if you shower with them on, or put them in your jeans pocket and throw it in the washing machine.

Of course if there are delicate beads you wouldn't wanna throw it in the washing machine.

sorry just got on here again....i buy mine at craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby...usually on sundays at michaels cause you get more discounts, or buy a piece of candy then a 40% coupon will spit out for the following week and go buy it then.

you gotta make sure you keep making the knot the same exact way everytime then and make sure that the 2 strings in the middle are always parallel to each other and not laying on top of each other
