  • no people like gasoline because it works better it has nothing to do with efficiency or corruption. airplanes are more flexible. trains are not nearly as fast . who cares about efficiency if it gets you there, there is never going to be a true energy shortage.

  • bull Scheiße... I want to see that tunnel from new york to beijing.... who will make it?? is it feasible ? underwater? Penis? die and let live!!!

  • @bizarrocker That made very literally no sense. Like, zero. All I got was some jargon. As far as the possibility aspect - well, hey, if we spent as much money on this as we do on aeronautic travel, this could happen within... weeks.

  • how can the passengers breathe without air?

Isnt this kind of transportation really expensive to built?

  • In switzerland it was the swissmetro. But the environmentalists were against the project!

I think the mohammedanism is against energetic revolution! They want controll all!

  • why is it so necessary to use high speed technology? Why are people so hasty?

  • @Leofox94

    Why waste time? :)

  • @miknos2 Thats like asking why we need sleep

  • @JCdenton50

    I don't get the analogy.

But let's say it's a productivity manner. If the train goes faster, it means less wagons are needed to carry people.

Imagine you can travel to a distant country for the same price (none). Would you rather spend few hours, or days?

For a slower enjoy-the-ride type would be a cruise.

  • @miknos2 We already have the technology for this stuff so why is it being studied for so long? Like a curving escelator that has to be researched for a few more years. Why would you study an escelator for a few years?

  • @JCdenton50

I believe it might be for standardization, safety among other rea$on$.

  • @miknos2 I dont think it takes a few years to determine if something is safe, if you die or get hurt after its used a few times then fix it.

  • @Leofox94 holy shit are u dumb? enjoy your fucking lowspeedtrains in america.

  • @fayereaganlover Well lowspeed is better I think because there is a low chance of any accidents and crash.

  • The basic maglev costs about 55million Euros/mile for the track alone.

1,000 miles = 55 billion euroes. Really? This is not even the "vacuum" tubes. Those are theoretically possible, but not over long distances. A single terrorist detonation at any section would cause the whole snaking tube to explode.

The train only replaces a single aeroplane.

What about accounting for the amount of pollution required to BUILD such an engineering feet?

All this is very basic minded theoretical thinking.

  • @CollectingQuest

If you check ET3 website you'll see the cost is less than a normal train (few million per mile).

Terrorist could detonate any train today but you don't see it on the news, so the same safety theory (guard the whole distance/track) is not necessary in my opinion.

Tubes could be "filled" with people constantly like a subway (many wagons/tubes) to compensate planes.

Certainly will be pollution to build it ,but would be worth it after.

  • The economy is based on oil and they will not allow FREE cost transport for the people . This vacuum travel was discovered in the 19Th century but was disregarded by government's to protect the Coal and Oil interests. If the Greedy who run the world decide to build,it will take ten years and be up and running.

  • @AmazinglyAgnostic

If you mean about this transport, maybe in 10 years we'll se one (search for ET3). If you mean about the Resource Based Economy, I think It will be hundred of years because a world coordination is needed. Best thing for now is spread the word and hope decision-making men take the initiative somehow.

  • If you have a accident, you would end up in Moon at speed of 4,000 miles/ hours.

  • @comedianFA

Maybe it's better than "just" dying from a plane crash?

  • @miknos2 i see your not a flying person

  • And who will pay the trillons of dollars to build this? Who will give up the land for the tracks? Who could afford the tickets? Hmmm...just because we can travel into space, doesn't mean it's affordable.

  • @birdmanlv

Actually is not that expensive. Check et3.com for more information.

Zeitgeist movement is about a Resource Based Economy (everything without a price-tag). I thought it was completely BS (not even close to possible) but changed my mind after reading about it. It's doable? YES but it's utopia. Maybe in 400 years.

  • @miknos2 @miknos2 You got your head screwed on, but The Venus Project is NOT a utopia. Jacque Fresco loathes the term. Type "the venus project utopia" and watch the third clip down.

  • @miknos2 even with a "Resource Based Economy ", the effort, the use in manpower and not to mention efforts in research and maintenance would still make it a massive project even if you didnt have to pay workers...

not to mention the fact that you need a way to power it all. and Superconductors need to be cooled along its entire stretch, apparantly liquid hydrogen is used. a system to resupply liquid helium to a track from the US to china would be even more massive.

  • Pissed the fuck off. Spread this video to expose the corruption.

  • woah.
