The solo is just so good its ridiculous, that transition from the bridge after the solo into the verse ( 2:41 - 2:45) is just so genius its mind blowing. The effect they put on the guiar works so well, legendary song

It was so great to finally hear this one released on an album. For years, I'd been collecting live boots on Amazon and "Won One Too Many Fights" (as it was originally called) became one of my favorite Shins songs. There really is a whole other world in their non-album material.

I used to think he was saying "Oh girl! Sailor don't sink her this time." I'd gotten so used to that expression. "Sailor don't sink'r."
