@RatPfink66 The song is "Calabash Pipe" from "Strike Me Pink" (it says Calabash Orchestra on the record). It was sung in the movie by Eddie Cantor and Ethel Merman. Someone has posted the movie clip on You Tube. The music on this You Tube posting is not used in the number performed by Merman and Cantor.
I'm wondering if it was used as incidental music leading up to the Merman/Cantor performance, used somewhere else in the picture, or wound up on the cutting room floor! But what a fantastic recording!
All I can say is WOW - and is this really a 33 1/3 Program Transcription? Great Quality on top of the serendipity! And of course, many thanks for the posting...
