Me wonders why there is no trimming cutters in place? This cuts down on costs.

what was the point of having a robot on this machine?

it was throwing mouldings on floor where op was standing, it would be a lot faster just dropping down shute where op could pick them up

the mould structure is 3 plate, so need robot to help

So basically what you are saying is,the product/sprue/runner cannot fall through tool because you do not have enough clearance, i.e strpper plate,push-back pins,dowls etc, are in the way, and you need robot to cheery pick on sprue to take mouldings out of tool,if thats the case it seems a very poor designed tool.
