I just have to say thank you for you video blogs. I am 13weeks 3 days pregnant and have found your blogs interesting and entertaining. There is so much info out there.... but seeing first hand experiences has helped me. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and birth. For me the due date of 3rd May 09 seems a long way away.....
I have never been pregnant but I have suffered from back pain for 11 years. Since I was 19. A year ago I finally went thru physical therapy and it was a miracle. The thing with backs is that each is different. What streches or exercizes are good for me may be bad for you. That's where you need a professional to tell you exactly what you need to do. And please let me know how it goes as I hope to have a kid soon and will probably be looking at back pain like yours.
Hi Suzie, thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear about your back pain. The physical therapy hasn't helped very much because there's not a lot they can do this late in my pregnancy. They tried mobilizing my joints a little and using heat, but they said I'd probably just have to wait til the pregnancy's over. I have a full-time office job so my posture's not great and I don't have much strength in my lower back because I don't exercise. Good luck with everything!
Sorry to hear that you are still suffering with the back pain. Mine seems to have gone away thank goodness. Hopefully you will get some relief real soon!
Those pics at the end were so cute, I'm sorry about your back, it must be awful. I love your idea of practicing everything with that teddy, you will be pros by the time Lila comes.
I got that popping thing to but mine would pop whenever I would get up from laying down..it was the babies weight being put on my ligaments all at once. It felt really weird though so I know how it seems strange. Lila is gorgeous!! She has beautiful full lips..can't wait to see what she her in person.
Hope your back starts to feel better soon..if you slunch over a lot that puts extra strain on your back so try to sit up straight more it might end up helping some.
Thanks girl! Yeah I'm figuring out that's exactly what it is.. pelvic pressure from the baby's weight. You're right about it feeling weird, it's quite painful too. It's so fun seeing everyone on youtube have their babies one by one! Seems like we're all having girls too :) Hope you and baby r well.
I'm 35 weeks and i have that "popping", or clicking feeling in my pelvic area too! Its hiccups! Its crazy to think that they can actually have hiccups in the womb but they do. Im also having a girl, she gets them a couple times a day!
That's so funny you said that, I just figured out the difference recently too. The popping has become a little painful now. Just saw your latest vid, hang in there hun. You will definitely be holding her by the weekend.. that's so exciting! xo
That's so funny, the day after you wrote me this comment, I started experiencing the baby's hiccups! They felt different from the popping sensation I was talking about.. I've been getting sharp twinges in my pelvis, and someone told me it's pelvic pressure from the baby dropping. The hiccups are so funny though, thanks for letting me know!
Do you have Turkish or Mongolian background? If you are not sure, then have a test, plz. You just look like a Turkish queen or a Mongolian princess.
Good Luck

The 5 S's....from the best book - The Happiest Baby on the Block. I could not have survived new motherhood without them!! :)

The "popping" and the hiccups are two different things I think. Coz I have had popping and hiccups and they are different to one another.
