  • Nice tempest and Lysander! My granddad took a trip in a Walrus - the front gunner gets blow dried at top speed (you can't breathe lol).

I have a Spitfire Mk.IX almost ready to upload, and I am working on a famous dutch Mk.XVI both in 1/72 (no decals exist for dutch RAF planes so i will be using parafilm 'M' to create small outlines ).

  • Very nice again, I have a particular liking for the Lysander.. and the Walrus.. :) :)

  • sorry i commented to early lol also like your walrus what kit make is it

  • The Walrus is a quite rare kit from SMER 1/48. Not very detailed and fitting badly. The camo is of course non-standard.

  • Yes, I was going to say it must be the SMER kit.. I bought one cheap of a fellow modeller in one of the clubs I belong to.. Have every intention of making it one day, but I also have 2 1/72 scale kits to do.. :)

  • great typhoon do you use paint brush

  • Hi fairey: äähm... the Typhoon is a Tempest: The text says so, and you can distinguish them by the wings or the tail.

All my planes are done with normal brushes (I prefer those with marten-hair), but no airbrush.

I use enamel colours (Revell or Humbrol)
