I used to like vampires, then I liked werewolves, then Twilight happened and that all went to shit. In a way, Meyer has written the most terrifying vampire book every written. Why? Because it can actually influence real life girls, and distort their perception of love, family, and friendship, much like what vampire hypnotism. As if that's not bad enough, the writing in and of itself is terrible. I'd get into how much she butchered the concept of vampires, but you guys really went over that quite well. I agree 100%.
