  • hopefully these come-out better then the vikings season

  • And then, u can just pound it!

  • When I get older I want to cook like you make my future wife happy also!

  • Nice video...I make my drumettes without the skin and then bake them and they are very delicious as well

  • You must cook it on a broiler pan or on something that drains the grease. Chicken cooking in grease is disgusting

  • "this is not martha steward here" LOL

  • Hey Rob and RoboticDucky18, Ive done the wings with a coat of oil first. The flour did not stick well at all it turned out to be a sloppy mess once done cooking and sauced up. Id stick to the original recipe, its to good to mess up. Also My wife got me a cool pump oil sprayer, Try one of those instead of a brush for the oil. works wonders and keeps the brush from getting stuck up with flour. EVERYONE try the prime rib, its now the requested party favorite. So tender and wonderful and WOW.

  • Hi Rob,

This is awesome, I can't wait to try it! Just a question though: do you think it would be better to coat the wings with the oil first, then through flour mixture?

  • @RoboticDucky18 Interesting idea, I'm not sure. The nice thing about brushing them after the flour is on is you get a crispy coat with a little hint of oil. I guess I would do the oil last, but let me know if you try it.

  • have you ever forgot to close the bag before shaking the flour?? that would awsome to watch!!

  • @Thet3 me forget? only a few hundred times.

  • @cookingfordads lol great vid though!

  • @sydsam1212 Have him watch a video and try something easy like the Chicken roll ups.

  • Looks good - how does this work with convection?

  • @tom2002a It should work great with convection. No problem.

  • great wings My family loved them thanks! can't wait to try more of your recipes.

  • @latinlingo Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

  • I made my wings exactly like you did but they turned out soggy before I put the sauce on. What went wrong?

  • @anailelianacarbajal I'm not sure, hundreds of people have made them. did you use parchment paper, how old is you baking powder? I've never had them turn out soggy. sorry for your frustration.

  • great vid, enjoyed it

  • can you list the ingredients to make it easier for me to round them up

  • @StilettoFashion411 go to the cooking for dads (dot) net site for ingredients.

  • I tried this recipe they are good.. I am trying to slim up to make weight and I eat these wings as kind of a reward on Sunday's... I use Franks Red Hot for sauce to cut out the sugar from the Teryaki sauce. Thanks for the video dude......

  • A+ video. Much healthier. Gonna try it.

  • @biped19 if you do send me a picture.

  • I think I've seen you on TV somewhere....

  • makin these tonight, jus with different sauce, hoot hoot

  • Can't wait to try this recipe. Looks so easy! Keep the vids coming :)

  • Uhm? U're trying to look like a man with saying dadfood and have sportclothes on. But just accept it, U'll always be gay :(

  • ahhh i see marrow on the nife haha

  • I love how he shows you how to make low fat Teriyaki .

  • you need to be careful with the way you hold the knife. your fingertips are in the way. Other than that great vid, I'm going to try this tomorrow.

  • You may ask . . when?Right ! Yesterday the China's Moneys changed by Good Mad!US will be next ! Why ? The Dollars are not US moneys..Dollars created by cowards Mongols for the whole world out of Soviet! Now Soviet . . finish Mongols in Mongolia,Kyzgyzstan,Uzbekistan,India,Pakistan.Eastern Europe.. . .Dollars change ! US have the real liberty.. .then US will control all Farms.. then free to eat ..Wings.

  • From 1776 after 13 nations and Mongols cowards used dirty chemical to Invaded US. . Mongols & 13 nations give a lot of Toxic in their farms in the South of US .. .Chickens Skin get more Toxic than any things. If any one,I mean Good US citizen want to eat chickens wings. .please wait for our country have the real Liberty ..we control all Farms. .then free to eat, eat health.

  • I like your show , but not the name Vikings in your. . . .Vikings were Mongols to invaded Europe under that name "Vikings"

  • @dmtau get your facts straight :) Vikings are Norse (Scandinavian) explorers, warriors, merchants, and pirates who raided, traded, and settled in wide areas of Europe and the North Atlantic islands from the late eighth to the mid-eleventh century.

  • @JedaFire You are mongrel ! So distort .. . Viking from 800..9century. Viking created by Mongols & Eastern Europe.. . .Distort will cost your head later.

  • that oven mitt is truly disgusting

  • My parents use to bread fish and chicken like that same ingredients but no pepper

  • I love your video. those haters' comments are really annoying. I'm Asian and we don't really use oven that much T_T anyway, it was great watching your videos. Thanks for uploading

  • @SHINeeSHINingable Same here his video's are awesome but the hate comments are getting on my nerves lol i should drink some of that ginger green tea he taught how to make tea calms the nerves lol

  • so Mac is makeup but Mac is an Apple computer and Mac is a brand up knives? these marketing strategies are getting more and more original lol

  • As a college student your easy recipes saved my life...

  • Pullin' bones out of puppies and then eating them. Sounds delicious. No wait. No it doesn't :o

  • for the salt and baking powder, are u using tablespoon or teaspoon?

  • Is that enough for you? I usually eat like 3x that much watching tv.

  • Did somebody burn their mouth?

  • @keomacfarlane I've always been kind of a mumbler. :-)

  • dam im loaded they look hella yummy

  • Why not dip them in Grape seed oil, THEN put them into the flour mix? How are they "Super Healthy"?

  • @Fathercoffee Grape seed oil isn't readily available everywhere and also is a little pricey. I try to use ingredients that people world wide have access to. These are super healthy because they're not deep fried. I guess that is only healthy in relation to other wings, not broccoli.

  • @cookingfordads I was told grapeseed oil is dirt cheap if you can find it. Like 5 bucks a gallon cheap...

  • you are my idol

  • where can i get a pepper grinder like that? anybody knows?

  • @ThePurdude it's from chef'n. Just do a quick google search for them. They are great.

  • i saw that before but the person sprayed the wings with pam.

  • @MUSTSEEVID Ish, Pam, yuck

  • thxs

  • Great recipe. Perfect for watching football, though the Superbowl is on in the middle of the night here because of the time difference.

  • I think this is a great method. I was scouring you-tube for a good recipe and I've settled on this. It's realistic (economical and perfect for a simple kitchen [sans fryers, etc]).

  • Back when i was a kid my mom made wings... They were so light and they wernt fried. They were in this tomatoey barbeque saucce type thing

  • @shehryar981 Mom's cooking was always the best.

  • Tried the wings... As good as moms ;)

  • I have that same knife. Great cutting tool! I call it the lightsaber... it is SHARP

    Great video!

  • Care waving that knife around man hahaha I was looking for a new knife and I tihnk I'll go with your advice

  • kikkoman sauce!!!

  • I'm making those tomorrow!

    Your wife's 'testimonial' was funny!

  • Yummo!!

  • nice knives!! the wings look tasty :)

(and i hope minn wins..cant stand the cowboys!!)

  • Can't wait to try this! Yummy and easy!

  • GO COWBOYS...

  • @WhyWitness Yes! Go Home, with your proverbial tail between your legs. :-)

  • does ur house smell after u cook, 'cause mine does

  • Good recipe, I'm going to try it. Cool tip at the end. I'll have to try. Loved how your wife gave her 'testimonial' !

  • Great tip about the baking powder; I can't wait to try that. Also, the parchment paper -- my wings always stick to the pan so I lose some of the coating/skin. Thanks, Rob!

  • my misto oil pump spray thingie would be perfecto instead of brushing!!

  • @ccm800 You are right, that would be perfect.

  • another great video handsome! Thanks for your hard work :)

  • ccm800: "my misto oil pump spray thingie would be perfecto instead of brushing!!"

That's what I was thinking; it would leave the flour coating undisturbed, and would be faster, with less clean-up (always one of my considerations!).

  • eeeeeeexactly :)

  • TWO YEARS?? I remember finding you on some recipe board asking for input on your first video!!!!

  • Looks amazing! (Boo Vikings!)

  • @ Eton I agree They look delish but Vikings? *facepalm* I can't say much though Dallas beat my team last week.

  • Looks yummy...

  • Love wings... will definitely try these!

  • vikings?!?! c'mon maaannnnnn

  • ahhh i love wings! i wish i could try these... i don't have an oven -_- (the previous owners of the house ripped it out when they got foreclosed, lol). your wife is beautiful!

  • Awesome! Thanks again Rob. Didn't you "nick" yourself? I can't remember what episode but you had to get a band aid.

  • @blueberrywine69 I did nick myself but that was a peeler in the drawer, not a knife. good memory.

  • lol well I was somewhat close. I have seen all and not missed a video yet. Keep them coming. I suggested you to a couple buddies at work and they like the videos. Keep up the great work.

  • That looks so good! I am not sure if it is quite diet friendly, but much lower in calories than regular fried wings. I am going to try this for the super bowl when I let myself cheat a little.

  • Nice job Chef, never new baking powder would do that. Go Vikes.

  • looks good! i wil deff try them! thanks for the recipe

  • Go Cowboys! Otherwise, great video.
