  • lol censor fail

  • U f...d up the entire thing whit this bullshit song.

  • Great footage, next time upload in 720P my friend

  • mad focus skills but the slow mo isn't all that impressive as far as speed goes

  • Sweet video, why no 720p though? We need some HD goodness :)

  • Soccer Sucs!

But the video is well made

  • @MatthiasMex American....

  • How's the experience with manual focus, with subjects that moves so quickly?

I haven't used my 7D for much video, other than webtv production with interviews. But it must be hard to keep focus in such environments?

  • Bummer about the sensor. There's heaps of distortion, and that's why I want a 5D Mark II.

  • @anim8ordude It all depends what you need. The 7D is great for sports photography, because of the 8 fps (3.9 fps with the 5D MkII). I would prefer the 7D over 5D for those purposes anytime. Rather have a little noise, than not getting the shot.

The 5D also can only shoot video in 30 fps, while the 7D can shoot up to 60 fps (in 720p mode, NTSC). So if you're going for slow motion, the 7D is the clear choice.

  • @simonwedege Well the 550D can do 3.7 fps and 1080P at 30fps and 720p at 60, and it's half the price of the 7D and a quarter of the price of the 5D MK II. That is why I'm getting it :D I have software to get rid of whatever distortion there is, and I don't need to worry about the distortion from zoom, because I'll be using the standard 18 - 55mm IS lens. Why am I not getting anything better you pay ask? Because I'm 15 xD

  • @anim8ordude I'm always the supporter of not getting better equipment, than you actually need. So if the 550D fits perfectly with your needs, then it wouldn't make any sense to get the 7D or 5D.

If you're looking for cost effective equipment, then it's much better to get 550D or 7D, rather than 5D, or else you wont be able to get low cost lenses, that doesn't fit for full frame sensors.

But if you have higher ambitions with photography, I would recommend the 50D or 7D.

  • @simonwedege No video on 50D dude :P

  • @Haakon680 I know. I said photography, not video :-)

  • @simonwedege *may

  • not 1080p?

  • @thirsokewl Because it can only record in slow motion at 720p.

  • 0:45 why is the ref santa with a ponytail?

  • 1:53 homeboy took a dive haha

  • 7d eos music video...Ls Centz i lost my baby..continuation of Ls voicemail on youtube...My second video i ever shot using canon 7d eos did it in one day check us out

  • cool editing!!!

  • what aperture did u use, very sharp n no blur, i mean how u set the setting too. thanx

  • @0137807102 It's not aperture it's the shutter speed. You can shoot very high shutter speeds with this camera and in good light the results are excellent. Each frame is very sharp because of the shutter speed. Having said that it still lays down the video at 25 or 30 (depending on your country!) so you just get 25 (or 30) very sharp frames if you shoot at say 125th of a second.

  • sick video!! I love the editing!!

  • That was awesome! Song used?

  • nice editing

  • Comment removed

  • The canon still cameras are doing it with video. Wow!

  • pff, epic.

  • wow, you just single handedly made soccer bad-ass!

  • Nice vid!

  • Really nice!!!

  • amazing video. i like your style. what progamme you use for editing? Sam

  • 0:35 fail.

  • good editing

  • hey this is great! congratulations!!

    very well edited.

  • Whats with all the lines in the lane ?????

  • probably a turf field that has all the lines for lacrosse football and soccer on it. they are permanent.

  • hehe, ok... man I would get confused.. but I guess they are used to it.

  • glad i could help!

  • Wow! How did you manage to keep this all in focus?

  • @skateAR6 You just jack your F-Stop up as much as possible, and you can ALWAYS be in focus.

It just won't have any 'bokehliciousness'.

  • My 60p doesn't look like 60p when I go to edit. I slow it down but there are no extra frames providing smoothness. When I do a playback in slowmo in camera they are there. Can any 7D owners give me a step by step of what to do? Thanks

  • if you have cinema tools on mac open footage in that and conform back to 30fps

  • This makes me want to be athletic.

  • Excellent video! I'm wanting to get a new video camera and am thinking about the 7D, but i'm not sure i can deal with constantly having to manually focus. Is it true that it's only manual focus and how difficult is that to pull of in an action setting like this?

  • just the 70-200 f4L

  • wow! I could actually watch soccer if it always looked like this!;)

  • sick! .. what song??

  • Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow DJ Money Remix

  • I used FCP for editing and just made a ProRes 422LT sequence and mixed and matched the 24p and 60p footage.

The first effect was easy, I basically layered two video tracks and deleted every other frame on the top layer so it would jump back and forth between the two tracks.

  • woa doesnt take this forever?

  • Well I suppose it would but I only did that effect where I needed it. So it didn't take me that long.

  • please

    the beggining

    when its like

    gee e e eee e et

2 pictures showin in every frame something like this

could you tell me which effect this is?

searchin for this 4 a looong time

  • Good film. What editing s/w did you use, and how did you combine the slo-mo footage with the regular stuff? Thanks.
