This guy can make anything sound impressive. However with that said, of all the videos on this guitar I only hear impressive tone, especially consdering the price. I guess you could drop some higher end pickups in the guitar.. but not sure what improvement they might make? Although the wood is alder. is it a less quality alder than what you get with the American made guitars, or is there really any difference that you can hear?

umm i owned the 50th anniversary mexican, i loved it, sounded exactly like a 60's strat, played through a Roland micro cube(amp's got balls hahaha)

he plays a pretty decent amount of rhythm stuff to balance out the lead. i wish he would play more regular blues/rock lead and less shreddish type stuff as well, but if you can't tell how the guitar sounds from this video, the problem's with you.

I know,youre not supposed to shred on strats,they are only blues guitars.but good luck telling that to Yngwie Malmsteen.God,I hate hate when people say what guitar is made for what genre,Strat for blues,Tele for country,Les Paul for rock,an ES for jazz,Ibanezs for shred and Deans for metal.its a load of poop.poop I say.

I kinda think that his shredding shows that the guitar is very versatile because it can give great cleans,nice rock overdrive,etc but can also shred, but it does get kinda annoying :)

I just recently played a classic vibe at my local music store. And i was blown away. Not even joking. The sound was compareable, and on some levels, better than the standard that they also had in stock. At first I was intimidated by it being a Squire, a well known lower line of Fenders, but moments after playing it, I realized it was quality through and through. The tone was phenominal, the feel unparalleled.

Alright, calm down. All I said was maybe he could try playing something that was overdriven that wasn't shred, it does get tedious after the second or third time. It's not much of a test if all he does is one thing mainly.
