Halo.. Halo 3 gives me such a good feeling. Playing online, almost dead, getting that f****** awesome plasma stick. Or that wicked Spartan Laser triple kill? Badass. I always will love halo 3. Screw Reach, it was fun but 3 was better, and ODST in my opinion is a very good addition. Firefight is great, and the campaign is fun as hell. Can't everyone look past the "your not master chief" aspect for a few hours long enough to beat the campaign or play some firefight in ODST? Halo 3 FTW!

This is one of the most offensively terrible statements I've ever heard a serious video game reviewer say. The sentiment of it represents everything that is detrimental to game development.  The kind of person who would make a statement like that needs to retire from sharing their opinion on games until they realize that form does not supersede function.

P.S. I remember form to function from my honors bio class, glad people pay attention in class besides me...

@HeadshotProductio100 I actually agreed with the reviewer in the sense that the VISR was useful; it helped me out (just my personal taste) but yes, form follows function: first and foremost the feature has to WORK, then it can worry about being cool.

The great thing about people who share HeadshotProductio100's opinion is that if it wasn't useful to them then they can just not use it and not miss a vital game function. The day episodes didn't need it but the Mombasa Strts night parts did, IMHO.

If more developers went with what functions best and implements smoothly into the game's design and less just what was sexy and sleek and super duper cool or whatever then the gaming industry would have a renaissance like it did in the mid-to-late '90s.
