I have OCD and NO we are nothing like Monk. For some reason they made him socially inept, slightly mentally retarded, and mousey. I hid with my OCD 10 more years because I was afraid that people would think I was like Monk. A crude stereotype that makes people with OCD look like freaks. I hate that show and I'm thinking about suing.
