  • Fuck yeah, Roid Moons!

  • My brother who's four years older than me beat this game back in the early 90's and I'd watch and be amazed at how cool the game was. After remembering how cool the game was but forgetting what happened in the game bc I was only 4 or 5 at the time, I picked it up a year ago and tried to beat it and it kept freezing on me. Finally beat it. Hard game but totally worth it. I hope they do a remake or something involving the same characters. It'd be interesting to see how theyd look now adays.

  • I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY GUY THAT EVER BEAT THIS GAME.LOL.

  • I gave up trying when I was a kid playing this game. Thank you so much for letting me see how IMPOSSIBLE it was and you PWN'ing it. My mouth dropped so many times on thinking "No WAY could I figure that out." Good job, dude.

  • i used to try to beat the fuck out of the game but never could...

either I got stuck not knowing where to go, or simply died from falling too high!

  • Oh no way, this game is awesome. It's my favorite NES game. I was able to win it when it was new, but yeah it did take pretty much a solid month of trying everything out and running into a lot of dead ends. The worst part was maybe the mom's area because you'll run out of magic a lot down there. And in a game where magic = item charges / your main weapon, that sucks.

  • I loved and hated this game. Hated it because it was so freakin hard but I finally did beat it, I think i was 11. My only stumbling block was on one screen where you had to push down on one of the blocks and you would drop to a new screen. Took me 3 months to figure that out.

  • I , like many others that commented, never beat Legacy of the Wizard, I acquired some of the crowns, but my password stopped working for some reason and I abandoned the game... I tried again and the same thing happened so I never played it again.

Thanks for uploading the ending to this atrociously hard "Game".

I had always wondered what the end was like.

  • I always watched my older brother play this but I never got this game and couldnt figure out what to do

  • i find the best music to a game would have to be williow

  • I'd never beaten this game, but I loved playing it. The m usic was so much better than any other NES game I had played. It was just so damn beautiful - for an 8-bit system especially. I also like the gameplay, but the many "secrets" fustrated me. Definately a game worth playing, even more so if you know the "solution" to it. Thanks for the video Artificialraven. Much appreciated.

  • hey, you're welcome. I might have a surprise coming in the future to those who liked the music of this game. Only time will tell.

  • this game had pissed me off to no end. never beat it.

  • so awesome. I haven't seen this in almost 20 years! Faxandu and Dr.Chaos were great also! Deadly towers! So many good games

  • Umm...Deadly Towers for the NES was garbage.

  • I never managed to beat LotW, but it was still one of my most favorite games. I still adore the music and the game world concept-- Don't just stand there waving, go explore the big beautiful castle now!! I always wanted to see who lives there. It must be so beautiful inside...

  • i got so fed up ov this game..i never even beat it...how th hell DO u beat it?

  • I LOVE THIS GAME

  • The music was truly awesome.

  • Played this when I was 8 back when it first came out, played to the end and didn't know how to get to the last boss. I also remember this game being the cause of my first grounding ever after I called the 900 number for the Nintendo Power hotline because of this and cost my parents $15/20 for the call, lol. Still like playing this game ever now and then. :)

  • hahaha funny you mention that, I got in big trouble back in the day for using the 900 number when I was trying to beat Brainlord for SNES.

  • I did that to find out where the silver pick was in NES Ultima: Exodus.

  • lmao we did that for The Legend of Zelda. Good ol' 900 number.

  • i couldnt find the last boss a dragon or something. almost finished it.

  • @mrstratego You have to walk past it to get anywhere in the game...

  • Did you read the walkthrough at GameFAQs.

  • argh i could NEVER beat this game when i was 7 either, but even when i tried again almost 10 years later, i still couldn't do it - with cheats....

  • This game was impossible to beat. I had no idea how to play it and gave up on it. But none the less the music rocked and they should make a new one. Also we need to remake Shadowgate.

  • Thank you so much!!! I played this game when i was like 7, but was way too dificult, then i played again as an adult on a rom, after painstakingly playing to the dragon fight, my rom messed up and would kill me instantly.. now i can mark seeing this ending off my list.. thx a lot!

  • Man, I haven't seen this ending in a looooooooong time.

  • the music in this game is one of the best EVER.

still love this game. stupid dog on the roof.

  • This brought back so many memories for my brother and I (and all he did was hear the music from the video!). lol
