That was very informative. Thank you. I'm a 60 year old new to the hobby kinda guy. I'm still flying 3 channel helicopters. Got a 4 channel but haven't been able to fly yet. Still waiting on a part. New heli bad part. Bummer. Thanks for the video.
does it matter if the motor is rear or front mount? I have a multiplex easy star which is a reversed prop, facing the tail. Is there a difference i should know before buying????
I'm buying a motor and speed controller and I was wondering if it mattered what battery I got? I now that it has to be the right voltage and u must have enough amps but does the connector matter? Thanks
@RCFindsen The battery can be to big fool, 2s 3s 4s 5s 6s, they cannot all be used in just any motor. Mah on the other does not matter in terms of how big it is.
thanks for a great vid...Ima young noob and before this vid I thought that the way you bought motors was just to walk into the store and get a cheap motor thats only spec was the kv of the motor(i no this sounds weird but i live overseas)but know I know to order online where their is the info
Great job with the vids! Definitely a time and possibly a finger saver. ;-P
Took me months of reading and trials to get things right. At least i did not have to suffer from burnt electronics or a cut finger (bet it must have hurt real bad there - *Ouch*)
i just bought a graupner rookie S (looks like easystar) to carry my video gear but it cannot stay in the air, it is too heavy. It works on 2 cells 2250 and 18amp esc , idk about the motor. Should i upgrade to 3 cells and buy new esc and motor ?
Thank you! I already know what all these thing do and how to connect them. But you just were nice enough to show everyone what everything means and how it go's connected so the new guy can at least have a chance at this hobby. Great vids D
that esc has been to hell and back

What do you do if you want twin engines would you use one esc and double the esc rating or would you buy 2 esc for the motors

@SuperTechzAndGames yes it all depends on what motor you have. It will probably say the voltage it needs at the place you buy it from

the battery can't be too big, only the prop and the motor can.
