Hi, I am looking for an urraco but the 250 S has only 220 hp as you say. What did you change on the engine to reach 280 hp ? and what is the cost for that ? Do you think it need to modifie some other components due to the incrised power ?
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry modern fuels, use 1:100 two stroke oil / mix as regualar driving fuel that keeps the old gaskets and metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions.
Most Porsche 911, Ferrari Dino 246Gt and mercedes Benz Pagoda 280SL vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps the injectors clean as new!
love the sound(& I am not a fan of V8's) but this sounds so Italian! flat plane cranks?

I dont think too many people realize what an Urracco is?
less expensive than any of the 12's
and alot more fun to drive.
If the noise of that quad cam V8 wwith weber's dont get you going?
your probably gone.
all the GT-4's and Mondial's dont come close to an Urracco in look's or performance.
