  • Humble beginnings.

  • すみません、ググれカスと言われてもしょうがないんですが、

    SSBBってなんですか?

  • @MatsukenDubai

    Super Smash Bros Brawl(?)の略だったと思います

    要はスマブラXのことです

  • @yabu1223

    やさしい説明、ありがとうございます!

  • これは結構テクが必要な気がする

  • ヘタだけどすごい

  • so mean

  • this chain grab is almost as unfair as dedede and a wall

  • カツアゲされてるww

  • ドンキーコングいじめwwwww

  • Comment removed

  • f yea falco needs it it helps so much

  • Haha Lugibrawler get over yourself and stop criticizing competitive gameplay. Noobs can't chain grab. maybe if you use marth or falco but IC chain grabs are much more different and a lot more harder than any other character on brawl. do more research before labeling something "noob" materia.

  • Takes skill to be able to chaingrab successfully.

  • LOL @ poeple calling new finds glitches.

Same scrubs who call advance techs on melee glitches....L-canceling is an edited version of 64's Z-cancel. Creators wouldn't have gone through and edited each value in melee if it wasn't meant to be in the game. We will find the new techs of brawl in time...

  • GLitch, trick, technique watever you wanna call it

  • Chain grabbing with yourself... for those of you who think this is useless probably think Bowser's Infinite Jump is useless too. Which is kinda funny considering, you know... it's not.

  • chaingrab?

  • yea right it has a lot of glitches, just only for certain characters. but this isn't one, that's just perfectly timed throws and grabs

  • スマブラX アイスクライマー永パ?

  • dude werd thts sweet keeping it real by using ice climbers way to go! if anyone wants to pm their friend code itd be nice

  • I should probobly call that hit off on DK.

  • Looks like it might still be necessary if the chain grab can't be done infinitely...or maybe it can but he's just not good enough. I'll test it out in Training Mode, and then collect your pay either way.

  • YE!!!!! I LIKE THAT! I LIKE THAT ALOT

  • I agree. I've never thought of doing that. Normally i just grab with one climber then use them both to whollop the enemy before throwing them but this seems much more fun. Frankly, I feel Ice Climbers are too under rated which is why I use them to spite all the nay-sayers.

  • CRACKALAKA!!!! >:O

  • this is going to be awesome... i hope you do not have to unlock them!

  • They are starters.

  • Reason 1193 why ice climbers are pwnsom

  • Great, a new version of Wobbling.

  • that's a pretty nasty trick there...Will only work on heavy chars tho right?

  • no, you can even do this in melee, on all characters, its even easier in brawl

  • In brawl its much harder to break out of grabs, and ice climbers are more strongly synched so when one is occupied you have better control with the other (compared to melee)

  • Since we are not going to see eye to eye, I am going to end it! Well from my side anyway.

So don't go seeing this as a victory! I am just growing tired of this unnecessary argument over something so trivial stemmed from a simple statement and blown all out of proportion. Just remember we are in the same boat as tourney players.

  • Funny how you ask me if I know the meaning of "conjecture" yet you still continue to demonstrate what you so proudly abhor. So yes stupid and ignorant is quite fitting.

I have been stating that not all tournaments have to be itemless, as it is a given that professional tournaments are played in the aforementioned way. And that's what frustrates me! I know the tournament settings, yet you beg to differ.

  • Chain grabbing! YES!

  • argue via messages. not all over somebodys video

  • could all you claimed "tourney" players give me a legitiment reason why turning items on is not cheap? also what items are allowed?

  • no.

    none.

  • It's to do with the random places in which they spawn. For item-allowed tournaments, it varies for what items are chosen.

  • thanks japan for testing the game ^^

  • teh new wobblez

  • theres always some glitch with ice climbers cuz they're 2 people. Don't get me wrong i love using ice climbers they're in my top 5 characters

  • who needs wave dashing when we can just do that. once ic mains master these desync grabs its all over

  • They could do the wobble in melee, another infinite. They could also wavedash.

    I don't understand your logic.

  • I used to hate tourney play but my game-stop now holds 1v1v1v1 tourneys with items allowed. So I'm half tourney half not. Either way I'd say there's 50% tourney players and 50% regular players.

  • 1v1v1v1 with items is NOT tournament play.

  • 4 stock with no items isn't the only way to have a tournament!

  • In the professional smash circuit, yes it is. 4 stock with no items maximizes efficiency while haivng the least amount of randomness that would allow a lesser-skilled player to beat a higher-skilled player.

  • I know that, I am a tourney player. But listen to what i'm saying, not every tournament has to have be 4 stock and no items. Just because professional players have it that way doesn't necessarily mean that all tournaments are like that.

  • nearly every melee tournament is no items, 4 stock. the only thing that really changes much is the list of stage bans. apparently you havent been to many tournaments.

  • Another who hasn't got the finer details. All I am saying is that not every tournament has to have items turned off. Is that not hard to understand? D:

  • I know what u mean :). You dont HAVE to tourny with only 4 stock no items. Your not going to HELL becouse u play a tourny with more than 4 stock or items turned on

  • THANK YOU! Some one gets me!

  • i did understand you. i also understand that every tournament doesn't need to be with those rules. however, you completely missed what i said. "nearly every melee tournament is no items, 4 stock"

i didn't disagree. apparently it's hard for you to completely read a post. you said "doesn't necessarily mean all tournaments are like that"

    except they are...

casuals: play the game you want to.

competitives: play the game you want to.

  • Now you are mearly spitting baseless conjecture. And you still think all tournaments have no items on??? Stop being so close-minded.

  • *sigh* again you don't read.

"however, you completely missed what i said. 'nearly every melee tournament is no items, 4 stock' "

NEARLY, not all. there was plenty of "conjecture" in my previous post. it had quotes for crying out loud <_<. I'm pretty sure that justifies my points.

you need to stop being so concealed in your one opinion, and try opening your eyes. I suggest directly at:

casuals: play the game you want to.

competitives: play the game you want to.

  • The reason I bring up my "concealed" opinion is the fact that someone misinterpreted me for that ONE statement. You come into the argument stating facts that have already been discussed (by me no less) and now you ridicule me for "mis-reading" you? Oh please spare me the drama.

  • So you admit you are the close-minded one?

Anyway, Johnwittle is completely correct. No one misinterpreted you.

Just because things have been discussed doesn't mean i can't take a side. Or express my own opinions.

Spare you the drama? Ha, you fail.

  • Baseless conjecture at its best!

The first statement JohnWittle made was the erroneous remark I was replying to which his said that "1vs1vs1vs1 is not tournament play" not professional tournaments, yet ChargerFan2008 was referring to the tournament that he plays in. So in that respect JohnWittle is wrong and ultimately you are wrong.

Oh and when you do take a side, don't be a sheep and cry out what is both been said before and the obvious. It makes you sound stupid and ignorant.

    EPIC FAIL!

  • thank you for trying to counter me. i can see you tried

do you even know what conjecture means?

do you know of any tournaments that use items or free for all? if so, are they at a high level?

no, tournaments do NOT count as you inviting 7 people over.

pros aren't the only people that prefer standard rules. it's competitive people that do. you aren't competitive, is all.

Are quoting people stupid and ignorant? wow maybe every essay i've ever written for english is just stupid and ignorant!

  • thats a pretty neat trick

  • its not even attacking them...

  • Training Mode.

  • um, lol

  • i thought u were gonna do that glitch in melee when u freeze them

  • Tourney players definately don't play the game for fun. In fact they hate playing the game. Thats why they spend so much time getting good at it, so they can better appreciate the fun they're not having. Yes this is sarcasm.

  • now i finally get how you can be good at a video game and have a life

  • GAH! I'd hate fighting someone using this. >_>

  • wonder if the ice climbers melee freeze glitch is back...i wonder...

  • I would slaughter this cretin...

  • They aren't going to ban characters from tourney's. If they are then I know 4 characters that are already banned.

  • who are they

  • Snake, Meta-Knight, Ice Climbers, and DeDeDe.

  • Dude, ignore the tourney players. They're stupid, and they play the game for exactly the opposite of what it was meant for. You can play any character you want, it's all for the fun of the game!

  • I know that.

  • dont try to diss tourney players because you could never get better than "OK"

  • what? even though i can easily rape you doesnt mean i dont have fun playing the game you noob

sakurai is dumb for not taking the time to balance the game properly so ill obviously take advantage of that, you're a noob for complaining about tourney players and that's the end of thats all

  • I like how you came in here bashing tourney players for playing the game the way we like, and then started telling us that we should respect other people's opinions on the game.

Yes, please do shut up and leave us to our own opinion. There is no "true way" to play Smash. This game is meant to be played however we want. If you want to play casually, go ahead. No one cares. Just please shut up and let us tourney players play the game the way we want.

  • No, you were trying to preach some bullshit about how the game is "supposed" to be played, ignoring the fact that we were given the option of TURNING THE FUCKING ITEMS OFF YOU STUPID NOOB.

  • YEAH! FUCK FUCK FUCK!

  • I lol'd.

  • sakurai dumb? lol I would like to see you create a videogame franchise that sells millions of copies. obviously you have no idea of the process to do so as everygame has bugs because thats just how programming is.

  • Actually more stages seem tourney legal this time around.

  • y???

  • when they smack him it sounds like if DK bones where broken :D

  • how do you do it?

  • ITs Japanese dumb ass; get out more; or just play more games

  • are you fucking retarded? have you been living under a rock your entire life while relations have been established with other countries? get the FUCK off my internet.

  • i lol'd largely indeed

  • actually not all computers have the font installed properley, so they might not display the japanese characters properley or might just have a bunch of squares.

  • even if that's the case, people should know enough about computers to understand. and even if they don't, who the hell goes flaming a guy for that?

  • ROTFL. For real man. The retards that live in this world these days...

  • Thats cool. I guess.

  • This looks like it can be performed as fast as you can throw after a grab, if your fingers can keep up.

It'd be nice to see a pro at work.

  • i can see chu dat using this in the future lol

  • A lot of yall are ridiculous. lol "STOP FINDING STUFF OUT." XD.

Anyways, wobbles actually used a chaingrab just very similar to this one at Pound. And if you guys paid attention this has the same progression as DDD's throw >.>.

  • Nah, these Techniques pwn,

  • No they didn't it's still in the game. rofl!

  • Oh noes. DDD's down throw. Thats very chainable.

  • not a glitch nub

  • once again not a glitch

  • Lol, at the beginning. "BITCH WHERE'S MY MONEY."

  • i got this

  • yyyeeahhhh. as was previously stated, unless your opponent is unaware that moving his controller in any form or fashion helps release him from your grip, this is only a minor tactic.

good tactic, nonetheless. ya never know.

  • Ice climbers are looking more and more appealing.

  • LOL that was funny XD

  • Oh wow! Something like this didn't exist in Melee!

About damn time they found out how to do it.

  • This was in Melee, but was executed in a different way.

  • It appears you can control which way Nana throws, which wasn't possible in Melee.

  • Seems very easy now. You can control which way Nana throws in Melee, you must input the command in the precise moment Nana grab the opponent, or was coincidence...

  • no U

  • Doesnt really look like it'll be devastaing unless your opponent puts his controller on the ground.

  • Well the chaingrab can be executed much faster then they're doing it on there. Once they get it down it won't be escapable. Brawl Wobbling... *Shudders*

  • Unlike the wobbles, which restarted your escape frames with each hit, this one can be shaken out of, especially with increasing damage. I guess time will tell how exploitable this is.

  • Oh Yes

  • ITS NOT BANNED SCRUB

  • YOU'RE BANNED FROM TOURNEYS!

  • De-synching is much harder to do in Brawl anyway. No worries.

  • woooo nice!!

  • oooooooooooooh no!!!!!

  • oh no dont like the look of this the pros wil use this 4 ice climbers

  • You can escape grabs you know

  • you might not be able to if this is executed fast.
