i think this album is highly underrated...im glad "the suburbs" won best album but i think funeral and neon bible are better, and neon bible will hold up better with time, i think its theme is just stronger than the suburbs...this song specifically sums up the album so well. i don't think this album gets the credit it deserves, and the only one who sees it is robert christgau

Yes, this is beautiful. I think that people see the Neon Bible album in many different ways, as it should be seen. For some people (like the man's message) they see some connection with God, and others see it as a call for change. I love that everyone relates to it in a different way though.
