This is gorgeous. Schnittke really should have written more music in "the old style." So much of his music is painful and harsh, to me.

@davehshs Try to listen to it as you would watch a film... we never know exactly what happens next... but Schnittke knew a lot about what other composers have done and in some way is just proving that form itself can be less rigid, less respectful of our expectations, of what are used to... you will enjoy it later I'm sure... :-)
