Level 1 = Nutnfancy nomenclature indicating an individual level FAK
Level 2 = Nutnfancy nomenclature indicating a group level FAK with expanded capabilities compared with a level I FAK
MOD I and II = really just my personal bit of fun relating to typical military designations for advances within a specific design (i.e. modification I, etc) . . .
Oh, I am so sorry I accidently clicked on one star instead of five stars. I don't know what happened. Maybe my mouse needs a new battery. Anyways this was a 5 star video. Sorry about that.
almost done with my kit, just have to find sutures and a few other things not at walmart. one thing i added to my kit were 2 tongue depressers for use as finger splints.
I have been making my first aids kits for years now and still improving them, the kits in the stores are not up to capacity, and most stores don't have enough to buy some things so we improvise and look around. the kits are worth there weight in gold.
As someone that has sustained a fair amount of injuries over the years, I find myself pondering a kit that can be easily used one-handed. No, I don't have anything in particular in mind, just a thought. Especially for the shop med kit.
Thank you for the video. I watched your emergency heater video and went out and made 4. They are awesome. Do you make you own first aid kit because it's cheaper? Where did you buy those bags.
Thank you! Very cool that you made 4 heaters . . . hope you won't get in a situation where you need them ;-)
I make my own first-aid kits because you can't find commercial kits with the right supplies or depth of capabilities. I make different kits depending on the anticipated need. My home "minor first-aid kit" has all the stuff needed for routine cuts. My woodshop kit has deeper capabilities, as does my auto kit. I also have a "group aid kit" for extended outdoor activities.
Thanks Doc. Went out last night and started my own kit. I tried to download your list but my computer wouldn't let see the PDF file. But I am getting a good idea of what you have and I started making it. I am thinking of taking a Basic EMT course because of your videos.Thank you very much and keep the videos coming.
Great tip on the Betadine....ive been search for the solution packet and came up empty...but those wipes are no prob to find....also easier to transport while flying...less hassle. of course i would leave out the blade if carry on.
tractor supply has needles and syringes you can get.

my small kit is very simular to yours. Infact I would like to get some of that cloth tape stuff you have. I'm gonna look for it.

Thanks for the videos. I made a kit using your ideas and now feel comfortable that I know exactly what is in my kit.

Excellent video brother.
That looks almost exactly like my kit! Right down to the ziplock bag!
I have one in each vehicle, my EDC bag, and my mountain biking pack.
Look forward to the review.
