  • This is the best abs video out there. The exercises are effective and more importantly safe for your back and neck. I mean it's been around since 1994, that should say something for it. I included this in my work out routine and it burns like hell at first but after a few weeks you'll love it. I lost 48 pounds in 11 weeks! Use this video it works! Come on gang! LOL! Good luck!

  • Im worried this isnt going to work =/ im 19 and i am 130 lbs, how many times should i do this a day and will i even see results?

  • do it once or twice a day, and also do about 45 minutes of cardio. But what you really need to keep in mind that it also takes a strict diet to get six pack abs. You can do this a million times and never get a six pack if you make poor diet choices.

  • the tae bo basic workout is a good one to start with(about 26 minutes including cool down). Tae Bo advanced is a good tape, but you definitely need to be ready to do an hour of intense working out. Start with tae bo basic and do some running and or cycling. I recommend doing 45 minutes a day, but take it easy at first, ease into it- cause if you go too quickly you can get injured or burnt out.

  • also, if you really want to work your abs- get an exercise ball (about $20-$30 at Target or sports authority) you will be able to do more intense ab workouts once you are conditioned to the 8 minute abs video. Some even come with DVD's that show exercises you would probably not even think to do with the Ball.

  • you should see SOME results after about two weeks of consistent working out (cardio included) but getting "totally ripped" will take a few months. It really depends on where you're starting from and how much you really dedicate yourself to achieving your goals.

  • You should go to your doctor and discuss your goals to come up with a decent diet plan. It helps to keep a food journal, you definitely need to eat- just make sure it's the right things in the right amount. Remember, 90% of what you need to do is diet and cardio; burning off the fat around your midsection- everybody has abs, it's just hard to get them defined- most people's abs are covered in a layer of fat. If you're already skinny, it shouldn't take long to see results. COME ON GANG!

  • Now that i've done this for about 5-6 days instead of starting to do them twice a day i do it in POWER mode - twice or 3 times as fast as the guys, saves time ^_^

  • New Guy: Don't worry about your athletic ability, exercise doesn't require any skill but practice and patience. That being said, if you are overweight, you are going to need to do cardio (try powerwalking for 40 minutes to an hour every day to start out) for this to actually show results.

    lamm66: you may have had abs since you were young but that is probably a result of one of two things: your genes put you in great shape or (the more likely one)you are just scrawny as shit and any small amount of muscle shows through. That was not meant to be offensive.

  • this program does work, but only if ur body fat percentage is below a certain level.. u will never get abs if u are over weight.. thats just a plain fact..

  • well i have a 6 pack and ive pretty much had it since i was like young and all i do is play alot of sports can you believe that no hard work at all just a little exrta curicular activites every once in a while and you should be fine unless your struggling with obesity

  • well you dont really have to be good at sports just like if you like somthing do it even if your not good at it but if you just dont like sports then just like go out and do anything that has movement really dont like stay like all of your day around the comp or tv

  • I have never been able to do crunches etc bc it hurts too much and also my neck hurts BUT I've persevered with this and so far done it every day for a week and guess what?! The aching GOES AWAY after a few days.
