Trying out the New Pocket Fishing Kit

I hate to be a jerk, but since they have nothing on their site about this product I thought I would share: buy a small pvc pipe at hardware store, threaded, with caps (be sure to tell them it's for a backpacking fishing pole lol). You can then keep your fishing kit inside, and just wrap and cast. I have used this method for years.

@Red69Bu11 The guy who made them got a real job and didn't have the time to do it anymore, though they were PVC he put a lot of time into the painting and shaping of the Plastic. We haven't found anyone who is willing to make them. So now we have the more primitive kit available.

10 more of those & you got a fish stick ha ha. Never seen one of those before. Looks pretty neat. When I was a kid and traveled to my hometown in California I would bring some line, a hook, and a couple pinch weights and go down to the log & sit and just drop it in. Caught about the same size here. Nothing big enough for the pan but fun & relaxing. Looks like a pretty nice location you guys where in too.

@theswimer419 30' of line a couple of hooks sinkers and bobber. They are made to be customizable so we give you the basics and you can add or remove what you like. Everyone kinda tweeks their own out from what I have seen.
