no, definitely not, there´s a big difference between programmed drums and real played drums...every drummer has his own style and if you´re experienced in listening to drumming in music, you´ll hear the difference between different drummers and of course you can hear, when you listen carefully, if drums are just programmed...

but this guy doesn´t even programm the drums, he plays them himself....hail raventale!! \m/

I gotta say, this is absolutely amazing. Everything sounds so great, the instruments, the atmosphere, the vocals adding to atmosphere. And for a drum machine, these drums sounds pretty fucking good. I've heard real drum sets not sound this good.

Astaroth plays all instruments but for this album, Mortal Aspirations, Athamas does the vocals. Astaroth however did the vocals on his previous albums. And yes drum machines are used in his work. I read in an interview somewhere he mentioned that drumkits are not common in Ukraine.
