Sylvia's parents didn't die. They PAID the real woman Gertrude to look after The Sylvia and her real little sister because they had to work as carnival workers. Sylvia had at the time made friends with one of the woman's sisters so at first she thought it would be fun to stay with her friend while her parents worked. Her parents were sending Gertrude checks while she was doing all that.

I don't like it when people take true crimes that happen and only put in 2% of the the things that actually happen the go over the top with everything else.

OMG i saw this movie on chiller last night literally THE most fucked movie i have ever seen it was so disgusting and i don't advise anyone to watch it unless you can handle the offensive and brutal scenes that are in it, again it was so incredibly sad and one of the most horrible movies i've ever seen i wish i had never watched it
