i tried this last night at the gym it puts alot of strain on my hamstrings and calves.

Useful video. As an ectomorph (completely opposite body type than Mike), I can see why this exercise gives me trouble--seems harder to keep lumbar as stable as shown in the video if your torso is significantly longer.
