We do have things that are fresh at McDonald's, and not just the freezer. For example, the round egg that you see on the Egg McMuffin is made from freshly cracked eggs. We get it into that shape by using a metal mold on the grill.

i work in mcdonalds, and let me tell you, its fun. You meet new people and you learn how the food is made. I mean, we really do grill the patties and make the smoothies. but everything is either frozen before, or syrup (thats how all soda is made and the smoothies are made with yogurt and crushed ice.)

I work at Mcdonalds, and very little is microwaved and no not everything is frozen. the hotcakes are refrigerated and heated up in our Q-ing oven((Microwave)) before serving, other than that only McGriddle cakes(Sometimes) Sausage Breakfast Burritos and Cinnamelts are Q'd.

McDonald used to make hotcake like any hotcake until the company produce to make it cheaper to buy and cook faster by precook. Hell even the folded egg are now precook, just butter the grill cover the lid add water and set timer.....yeah it one reason why they taste watery now.

P.S. I used to work with Mcdonald for 6 years and I can tell ya one thing that made me sick is they told me I have to cook the round egg "jelly", that right a running undercook egg.
