  • style reminds me of Danny Elfman's Jack skellington lol....interesting

  • I think I liked this song from the beginning since you've put your first version up and I still do so big up for you! But I kind of agree with bcclark81. Off course the soundquality is much better here but I kind of liked it better the first time because it has some sort of roughness that for me personnaly represented the growing insanity and despair of the man in the poem. And mostly I feel that here your way of singing is too dramatic or too affected.Hell I don't know why, just my two cents :)

  • This is a fantastic version of this poem. My teacher showed us this video in literature class today while we were learning about Edgar Allan Poe and his famous poems and stories. I just wanted you to know that you have great emotional execution and that your amazing work is being used in classrooms!

  • @marietree101 Wow that's really awesome! I remember first learning this poem in my English class sophomore year of high school in 2004 (I'm 25 now, crazy!) and that's when I fell in love with it, so it's really flattering and beyond cool to me that your teacher used my song/video in your class. I really appreciate you sharing that. It's quite flattering! I hope it converts more people into Poe fans. Thanks again!

  • @CineMarktography Your very welcome!

  • where can i find the image at 0:37

  • Wow! That's great). I love this poem so much. I love this version). Good job!)

  • I don't think Edgar Allen Poe would ever knock interpretation... as would no poet of an calibre at all :)

It's all personal, and so It Must Be.

  • In my opinion E.A.Poe would turn around in his grave if he heard this. But everybody has a different music taste and a lot of people seem to like it so...congratulations!

  • Has a Nightmare Before Christmas feel to it! I love it!

  • @MidnightWolfCry14 LOL yeah i got that too, kinda cool

  • I love the poem, I love Edgar Allen Poe and I love this song. I kinda hate one thing, the fact that you stole my idea of putting this poem to music. LOL I love it! This shows me it works. Now for a metal cover for this metal-head.

  • I would say I appreciate it, except for the "improved" part. It's no better than the original.

  • @bcclark81 lol thanks for the honesty... I said improved because the sound quality is inarguably much better, for the first time I used studio quality microphones and professional recording/mixing software, and I spent probably four times as much time on this version as any other. If you think the original is better overall, that's cool!

  • Great job, man. This gave me the chills. Great poem, and great reading! I love this version!
