  • What about your technic? lmao...

  • i love how he said the odds arnt stacked against him cos hes up 10g and he goes a loses it all plus more ! lmao

  • "I'm not down at all, maybe up a little" translation "Fuck! I just lost all the money I had."

  • That's exactly how they lose everything, they lose 10g's and feel they have to try and win it back. Then they lose MORE and still don't wanna give up. Before its over they're down 100g's and are no longer a home owner. Pathetic.. no self control or common sense.

  • I have been to Vegas about 5 times since I became an adult and used the slot machines once. I don't go there to gamble. I love to see the shows and the shopping. These people can't even comprehend people doing anything other than gambling. So sad.

  • I do not know who I despise more the idiots that loose the money or the people that take advanate of the idiots.

  • at 09:55

no you are not a quitter, you are an idiot

  • these places should be banned. all that money people are just throwing away for a couple of hours of fun. they should only be legal to work as a charity. where everything stays the same but all the profits go to people who need it.

  • oh she's a very special customer, we gave a memorial to her husband and bla bla bla, ill guarantee once the money is gone they wont give her a glass of water..

  • A gambler is nothing but a man who makes his living out of hope.

  • I will treat you nice too if you give me 4 million you stupid moron.

  • These people have a huge money Monkey on there back. Very sad indeed....

  • I will treat her nice too if she gives me all her money. LOL

  • the guy john with the goatie that he gambles with should be in the movies, hes hilarious. and quite like john favro

  • Las Vagas is a double edge sword, on one hand people do lose alot of money, and on the other hand Alot of people have jobs in the casino.

  • 5:05-8:13 THIS WHOLE SCENE MADE MY STOMACH TURN

  • Ive gambled a fair amount (decently high stakes too) but watching the start to that roulette session was cringe-inducing

  • Louis is such a homo

  • I'm watching this because I like this documentary and I like New Vegas. It's a double-whammy.

  • "I'm not a quitter." I'm just an idiot.

  • Boarded sales gavone

  • The casino didn't even bother to spit on it with that hoarded

  • gambling is pointless man

  • i went to vegas once and had more fun then anybody. didn't gamble once

  • Damn you capitalism!!!!

  • Gambling is fun. I lost money and won money. Can't blame the casino. Its not the money you want, but the "rush"!

  • @mrfreeze0054 The "rush" and high experienced from gambling is why people get addicted. It is powerful, like illegal drugs. No one can put a price tag on personal pleasures. High rollers drop $100k and they don't care. The interest they earn on their 200M in banks, bonds, or stocks is more than that anyway.

  • loui's the man!

  • lol she sounds like elmo

  • I wish I was like Louis, when he knows somethings up or he senses a racket he will pipe up. I just keep quiet and leave.

  • Casinos sell the same commodity as theatre and opera-entertainment. Spin the wheel win a thrill. But keep in mind the stacked towers are supported by stacks of money.

  • The mattress king is now sofa king stupid.

  • @superstud666 what does 'so toronto' mean?

  • @superstud666 What do you mean? Whats the stereotype?

  • 1:50 "Sorry, it's not very big." Haha!

  • People and private business should be allowed to do what ever they want. If I own a business that allows gambling and you want to gamble that in my opinion is non of any ones business. Stay out of my business and I will stay out of yours. BTW I don't gamble. I just believe in freedom of choice, whether that be drugs, alcohol, not wearing seat belt or even gambling. Do what you want and be responsible to except the consequences of your actions. Don't turn to the government after.

  • that chap 3 minuted in is coked off his nut!

  • they live off none quiters

  • @superstud666 Um, ok. While that was a funny South Park episode, it still doesn't answer my question. I'll wait for a logical, and/or mature response on your part. However something tells me I may be waiting for a while.

  • @superstud666 " If you don't get it then you don't get it".......You know, it does seam that you either have no explanation for a stereotypical white guy from Toronto, or you're trying not to offend, or you are aware your only explanation of this stereotype will make you appear to be an ass. The only thing I could come up with after watching this episode, with this guy in question, was that to you, White Guys from Toronto = Rich & Cocky? Is that it?

  • @superstud666 Being white and from Toronto, I am still unaware of this generalization. Merely out of curiosity, what is a" stereotypical white dude from Toronto"?

  • The guy at 4:05 said he brought how much with him? He said their salesmen, I wonder what those 2 gamblers sell? Anyone know?

  • LOL at the guy covering nearly every spot of the roulette table. An almost risk free win for the house. Could not be more stupid.

  • Great documentary. I was curious as to what goes through a gambler's minds when they are decide to put so much at stake and this video pretty much summed it up. Great job

  • @superstud666 .......so "Toronto"? What does that even mean?

  • NO1 RULE OF GAMBLING

    NEVER GAMBLE WHILE DRUNK

  • 8:40 this guy is all tuned up on blow, look at him chew the shit out of that gum

  • that degenerate john guy is proper coked off his nut

  • what a waste of life this old lady lives

  • they're so nonchalant about it

    "50, 60 thousand"

"if i win i win, if i lose i lose"

    jesus christ!

  • if i win i win if i lose i lose... I still have got the house :p wtf

  • @cadwaele You don't go to the casino to earn money, you go there because its just a fun experience. If I win I win, if I lose I lose. It's fun either way.

  • @joe80dmanizanerd I don't see the fun in losing your hard earned money, sounds like what an addicted gambler would say.

  • @TheDane824 There is no fun in losing your hard earned money. It's fun if you win, and even if you lose (I always make sure I don't lose anything that would really hurt me financially, let's say 200 dollars max in the 1 time a month I go) you still had a fun night out with your friends. It's not like saying "drinking every now and then is fun" makes you an alcoholic. Stop overreacting.

  • A good roulette operator can 'place' balls if they've been doing it for long enough

  • @slicydicer untrue

  • @2bsom1 welp thats what i heard anyway. Maybe they were talking shit.

  • @slicydicer bullshit

  • @MinorHeadstorm are you a roulette dealer?

  • @slicydicer no but there's no evidence to substantiate your claim

  • 3:30, the fat guy in black is in denial.

  • i go 2 gaming places 2 make money coz i work 4 em not 2 lose money some ppl at my work play after the shifts i go home fuk em i dont play the scum 4 em

  • @MrCrazyh81 Don't many casinos bar their employees from gambling where they work? It doesn't make much of a difference if there is somewhere else to gamble within a few miles. I think that watching people lose for the most part would cure anyone of the desire to gamble.

  • This is why I play poker

  • Gambling is for the mathematical illiterate

  • @darkthunderlyon thats me then - im compulsive

  • @darkthunderlyon I've only gambled on a few vacations but I've won money on every trip and it was great because I fully expected to lose money. For most people, gambling is for fun. You sound like you have a twig stuck up your ass.

  • "I'm not a quitter." Good job high school.

  • I won fifteen dollars last weekend. So awesome.

  • Didn't Einstein say something about that the only way to win at roulette is to steal the chips when the operator isn't looking?

  • Alans first bet: takes me out of debt

Alans second bet: pays for school

Alans third bet: changes my life

    FML

  • The scary thing is that I would do that, I've never gambled (real money) but I can see myself doing that, the thrill of the win.

That's why I'm afraid of ever going gambling

  • @MultiBorg1

haha dude i know, i was in a casino last week, lost £10 and that was enough for me.

  • the "I'm not a quitter" line at the very end of this part is why it's so dangerous... should only bring your cash (geez most people will call it a massive splurge if they invest $100!) and unless you're devoted to losing $x and that's your version of an arcade (minus stuffed animals, stickers, and diy airplane kits lol) simply spend that $100 or whatever and with each hand/slot turn put winnings, if any, into the "going home" place. Most will go home with $15 from the $100 but some might make $50

  • ...sp... spices, spouses... loool

  • Salesman coked off his nut . . . . . .

  • @dixon97a haha ohh yeah

  • Jeez thats alot of money to bet!!The most I ever bet is €2 on a horse race lol

  • I never realised that gambling was a serious addiction. Lol mugs.

  • 1 person is a fucking idiot :D

  • Complementary items my ASS, PROBABLY 1% if that.

Weird fucks, there is no way she was ever a Doctor,

slime ball fucks all of them !

  • Lol just a bunch of scum bags from Jersey, my Friend my Ass.

  • OMG, this people are really pathetic, gambling is a disgrace!

  • that guy at the end looks like hes on some serious drugs. haha

  • Wow, this high roller reminds me a lot of Gary Sinise.

  • @twoheadedboy

    he does

  • @MultiBorg1 maybe he is,in his spare time

  • Comment removed

  • Gambling is a dangerous thing.

  • "But she, like most spouses they don't know what your financial status really is." I couldn't imagine either my Husband or I keeping financial information from the other! That's so horrible!

  • They so at mercy.

  • The odds are in their favor of being idiots.

  • Vegas is fun (with friends), but i wouldn't go solo like the multi millionaire guy. You know you're taking a wrong turn when you head to the casino by yourself.

  • @twadsy ...You right ..looks like it cant buy him friends..

  • If John aka Douchebag was up 10 grand and it was in his pocket, than he only pulled out about half for the camera because that wasnt 10 grand. Put 100 $1 bills in a wad and see how fat it is, much more than Douchies wad.

  • the canadian guy in this video is obviously a multi-millionaire, if he wants to blow a few hundred grand at vegas every month, who cares? those casinos are the biggest employers in the state. Dead beats who will spend their last dollar or remortgage the house are the real problem.

  • @FaceABullet No, they are the ones i feel sorry for because they go there for a reason, they dont earn enough and are trying to hit "jackpot". Its the stupid arse multi-millionaires that go there that make people think that they can achieve the dream and make it big. Then they find out its just a mirage, unfortunately its too late by that point.

  • 2:30

    hes such a doucheee

  • @DaveKurtandFaye wait nevermind hahahaha

  • Las Vegas would have to be the single biggest monument to human depravity on the planet.

I would only ever go there if I had a red convertible with esoteric dials I would never understand, and a suitcase full of amyl nitrate, high-powered sunshine acid, and some high-quality mescaline.

  • @SuperAntiZionist dont forget the ether

  • how come louis doesnt get a suite?>

  • 8:25 hahaha

  • press 6, then 9... repeat... feel happy you don't have this ridiculous vice

  • Yeah I agree with that guy and although I'm not a gambler, if I were to gamble I'd play Blackjack because in that you have more of a chance of winning than if you played Poker or used the slots or played Roulette.

I mean it'd either be Blackjack or Poker because at least those are fun to play, Roulette and the slots I find to be pretty boring - there's no real thought involved.

  • "I'm not a quitter" can you believe this guy?!

  • I was at the stratosphere up on the observation deck one time ( where the roller coaster is ) and a guy jumped of.

Guess he was not having a good night.

2 days later and I couldn't find any news reports on it ( leaving the building the police had an area sectioned of on the street and were saying "keep moving do not look back" which of course I did & think I saw blood splattered on the side of the building, but no body )

I always wondered what the guys story was, why he jumped etc.

  • @M0THERKN0WSBEST I'd be more worried as to why they covered it up.

  • When that guy said he was up ten thousand I wanted to yell "Get the fuck out while you can!"

  • Fools game.

  • Please listen, do not gamble. I hope they close the casinos down all of them.

  • If people were smart they would boycott all casinos, they are thieves.

  • @zedeckomnipotent Casinos are fun, as long as you understand you are going to lose money.

  • The last dude has blew about 19 grand on the tables and the other 5 grand up his nose, the man is off his nut!

  • Step 1. Click on the video

    Step 2. Press '6' repeatedly

Step 3. Say to yourself, "Ohh it's just warmup"

    Step 4. Profit

  • At 00:24 he calls her mother.

  • that dude when hes 80 and probably broke is gonna think how many millions he lost at the freakin casinos! .. just the way I think how much I could have studied when I'm writing my exam :D

  • Such unnecessary decadence. :(

  • Fuck your fukin loses u idiot!

  • its a wonder that they let them film in there

  • Comment removed

  • The dude at the end lost his money from playing whilst under the influence of cocaine!

  • these ppl are like crackheads! always lookin for that high, but when their down they DOWN!

  • This series should be called "Depressing America". I love Louis. These people are just depressing and totally not in tune with anything real in their lives. Sad.

  • Lol this guy is hardcore

  • What a horrible sickness.

  • @MrKon14

So you think that multimillionaire is a loser?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrKon14

Well yeah he's weak in that point, but who of us is not?

Everybody has weaknesses, that's just human. He hurts nobody with gambling, he obviously has the money so that's fine with me.

What's your weakness? Smoking, drinking or are you taking drugs?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrKon14

He says his wife is cool with that, and I don't think it hurts his family as long as he doesn't lose his house(s). And if you think you have no weakness, you're a dickhead.

  • @MrKon14

looool ur so funny loool that's why u write loool all the time huh?

change ur name to Hurensohn ;)

  • Slotmachine pro - that's retarded.

  • the 2 salesmen are big time losers

  • I love this loosers

  • I hate that guys smug expression at 2:38 when he's fanning his winnings. So satisfying when he spunks it all away

  • @MrSyrett not just happy that someones winning?

  • Gambling in Vegas is pure entertainment, if you go with the intention of winning money, you're delusional. If you pay $400 to go see Barry Manilow, you're entertained and out $400, the difference with gambling is that you're entertained AND you might win.

  • It is true in Blackjack, based on what cards you have and what the dealer is showing, there is a right move to make which gives you the best probability of winning. If you play that way, the house advantage is slim, less than 1%. With perfect play, the house advantage in blackjack just comes from the fact that you play first. But gambling addicts invariably start to play emotionally, like he says "bet heavy when you're on a streak". and that's why they lose big.

  • This guy (louie) is great.....I love casino's for the atmosphere, but will very seldom gamble, and if I do its on nickel slots (to get a couple free drinks) or maybe bet one a couple football games.

Gambling for hours seems like such a waste.......but I'm happy to mooch free drinks.

  • My friend....an avid gambler....has figured out how to eat for free in Vegas and how to win placing bets on sporting events......he is tremendously successful.......he charges $100 for the most intensive information on Vegas you will find......a bargain to say the least.....you will have your money back the first week

  • Martha is a larger than life character

  • @ginza0088 I plan on making a Sims character inspired by her.

  • If i had say 100 million in the bank im trying to think if i would find it easier to gamble! If i had that much money i wouldnt really be bothered in putting 2 thousand pounds down and think nothing of it. However as i am now id find it hard to put 20 pounds down and waste it in the blink of an eye. For me it would totally depend on how much money i had. Would anyone agree or am i totally off the ball here lol?

  • Vegas is such a sleezy place.

  • Loseing alot of money is a good time WTF.

  • John is super cool.

  • Listening to alan its like he knows what he is doing is wrong when he says its not a good habit to have but at the same time he cant let it go lol.

  • i love the way the guy tells him he's down 24 grand and louis asks him is he a having a wonderful time hahaha brilliant

  • @bonzo

Louis Theroux is the best of the best. He is shrewd, tactical and disarming as fuck and I love every minute of this dude. lol

  • @Babylonthegreat

theroux strikes me as a guy who could pick up gambling easily. Some of these other guys are just AMAZING.

  • yep gambling is addictive and based purely on luck, and that's why it isn't a good idea if you want to make money

  • I feel so sorry for that old hag

  • @edubz777 - Yeah, I can see your sympathy runs deep, referring to her as an "old hag" - touching

  • Have you been havin a wonderful time? wtf!? :)

  • I was in vegas the other year and I saw a kid with rather a large number of chips and he lost them in a matter of minutes. That scared the living shit out of me, I never gambled in vegas but I was a "probability consultant" for my mates.

  • loved his sense of humour at the end"my technique went out the window"an how louis kept quoting them with..enjoying urself?..very clever

  • THE OLD WOMEN IS THE OLDE VERSION OF LADY GAGA :o

  • Does this guy really have a wife? If so, is she really against gambling? According to a book I read, many high rollers use their "wife" as a cover story because they don't want to tell the real truth.

  • @MONOPOLY35

A cover for what this guy is admitting that he has a gambling problem

  • $10,000 alone would help with my college tuitions...but $50,000...~_~

  • @RenaRaven Gotta have money to make money

  • john reminds me of john favreau from swingers

  • its not worth gambling at all!! how many people get into dept over this addiction and lose, most of the time you lose, very rare that you win, so please dont do it!!!!!!!!!!! do it if it does not effect you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you

  • @charanjit1974 you could win all of the time if youre with three persons at a blackjack table and use the card counting tactics .

and there whas also a guy back in the dayz that always win at black jack they called him greacy vinnie or something like that because when he whas gambling he would alwayz eat fried chicken but no one never none his secret because he died at the gambling table couse of a heartstroke

  • "Teach you how to be a winner." I'll bet (hihi) this guy actually believes that. The point of gambling is that there are no skills involved. It is all about chance, and the odds are stacked against you. Play long enough, and youll always lose. Thats why they the food and drinks are free and the hotel rooms very cheap. All decoys that disguise what's really going on, namely you flushing your savings down the toilet for no reason at all.

  • yup went played roulette with a las vegas dancer,,,,,,she took 20 k with her and after 5 hrs she came home with 40 k......20 k profit in front of me,,,,she calls me her lucky charm,,,,this weekend she wants me to go with her to venetian.
