The chronology in this video is very wrong however. First off, the universe itself isn't even close to being 300 billion years old. Evolution started much more recently, I think around 2 billion years ago, but really "jumpstarted" under one billion years ago.

Not really. 2 billion years ago we had just single celled archea, eventually eukarya and bacteria, and it wasn't until around 700-500 million years ago that multi-celled life started to emerge.
