  • Hi everyone,

the game is actually finished and was about to go to submission with Nintendo through a small publisher, but due to the Wii market not being very stable our investor pulled out. So we have a finished game, but no way to actually get it out. We are thinking of going through crowdfunding(maybe Kickstarter) to get the financial means to make it happen.

    Thanks

Klaus - Creative Director / CEO

    Zoink Games

  • I really wanna know what happened to this game

  • my little brother has thsi game i is pretty neat until he is old enough to play metroid prime

  • @nibelung34343 You're clearly lying, this game is TBA.

  • 0:27 oh god the rape!

  • This is equivalent to putting your controller in a plastic bag and shaking it.

  • Aww! :D

    I like this!

  • hey it's not that bad

  • holy crap i want this game.

  • This is awesome cute and strange AT THE SAM

  • Very nice ;)

  • WUT

  • Only Nintendo.

  • @ThuLarryR

Well... Zoink Games are actually swedes ;)

  • This is the shit. This will most likely go out of stock insanely fast. BTW when does it come out?

  • I don't care what anyone says, this looks like one of the best child video games I have ever seen in my life! I want to play it, me, a grown up!

  • I can't believe they used D.A.N.C.E. for this commercial. The results are so,so,so funny :)

  • It looks like if Crash Bandicoot and Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba had a love child and that love child was all cracked out.

  • Hahah. This is amazing. Technically it's nothing special (no wii game is) but it's all about the presentation. Beats the crap out of the mario kart wheel.

  • can someone please PM me the song to this vid? I love it! :D

  • is this real?

  • Unique!

  • THIS LOOKS AWESOME

  • very nice choice of song, nintendo

  • @jewifeifei Well, really it's "Nice choice of song, Zoink Games."

They're the lil' indy company making this.

  • @jewifeifei Nintendo isn't making this dumbass

  • I love it

  • a true symbol of what the wii stands for LOL

  • how can you play it ?

  • when does it get released

  • LOL WTF

  • Officially the best trailer for a game ever. :D

  • LOL. Krass. Wie schnell geht denn bitte das Tier kaputt, wenn man es ständig rum schmeißt?

  • 10 minuten

  • 1:10 It's making a 4 year old look like a giant troll?

  • Looks great for Kids!!! I really like, that it tries something new and it looks really good and interactive...

  • Interesting... But, what the heck with this song?

    LOL.

  • D.A.N.C.E? YES!

  • i want the game and the plush MOOOORE

  • LOLOLOL I want it xD

  • Wow, you're right!

  • @Sm4o Good catch!

  • that's scary

  • I want a Wii.... just for this game.

  • I'm 17 and I want that game BADLY.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The song is called "Headache Inducer".

    LOL. JK

    Seriously, though.

    Nah.

  • *facepalm*

  • This is actually one of the best games I've seen in a long time, no joke.

  • same here

  • So there is now a "controller" for the Wii. That looks an amazing amount like a stuffed animal. Which you use to take a small furry creature on a fantastical adventure. In a video game.

...If you're playing something like that, what the @#$% is wrong with using imagination?!

  • I NEED THIS GAMEE!!!!

  • I refuse to believe Justice made the song in this advert.

  • ..saying that an Ingmar Bergman film or Orwell's books are just meant for recreation and nothing more. Yes it true, games have grown up a lot since the glorious days of space invaders and mario.(As a matter of fact there had been tons of interesting games in that time period anyway)

Again i suggest you play these games so you can have a better perspective and please pm me instead of replying in this comment section lol..

  • ..honest blew my mind away.Again it s not an argument of older games vs newer games.Putting every game which has an interesting story, poses intelligent arguments and is based on a extensive universe under the "Hardcore" list is pretty dumb in my opinion.Consequently i believe your perspecive is still limited cause from the looks of it you never played a non-casual game. The problem this days is the perception that videogames are just for fun and nothing more. This is very very wrong!its like....

  • All I want to know is what they were on to come up with this game. I WANT SOME!!!!! :D

  • Look like that monster toy robot in the simpsons

  • song i mean

  • this son is great.. i want the name of this track

  • the song is called. D.A.N.C.E. by Justice. it says it right at the beginning

  • thanks =) how kind of you!!

  • I google searched the lyrics. it's Justice - D.A.N.C.E :)

  • =) Thankyou you too. very very kind =)

  • Im kinda pissed that they used this song for this.

  • At Costco, I saw a purple plushie with a wii remote control. I think it the same as this one . ? D:

  • You control it by deep-throating a stuffed animal with a Wiimote?

  • neet idea for a game realy

  • lolwut

  • They should make this game with a pikachu doll.

  • This going to be used as rocket launcher !!!!

  • I would like this if I was 5 again.

  • wawa wiiwaa i likeeee tisssss

    ima borat

  • I WANT THIS!!

  • its allot better then having them shot zombies and teabag them just for the LULZ besides he looks only like 6

  • Don't forget to hope for the torching of stuffed bears and barbies. It's possible that children might feel up the barbie, or mistake a bear's cotton for testies. We must protect the children from anything pertaining to human anatomy. Anything roughly resembling a human must also be discarded in that children might unknowingly commit sinful acts, such as appearing to hump a plush monster. God forbid that they don't know what they do, but will look like they're doing something foul.

    *sarcasm

  • No action man = Girls toy

  • Looks cool

  • did that kid just deepthroat that plushy with a wiimote.....?

    omg.....0_o?

    [WiiWhat?]

  • I can't believe i actually want this.

Looks like a Tim Schafer game!

  • The purpose of the doll is to create immersion for the player. It makes the player feel like he/she is controlling the character in the game directly. For kids, this is easy to do. Adults will think "why not just move the remote itself, why the doll?" But kids will be all over this, their imaginations are still in tact. Their eagerness to "imagine" hasn't been destroyed by life yet.

Honestly some people in these comments make me sick.

  • @totakeke I've played videogames since I was 6 years old and I still used my "imagination" to play with Legos for many more years. What makes you think using the actual controller is going to destroy their imaginations?

  • Please point out where I said that using an actual controller is going to destroy their imagination.

  • @totakeke You didn't I suppose, but you implied this type of interface would be of some kind of benefit to their imaginations over the standard controller. I see no benfit, though it could make it difficult for them recognize the difference between reality and fiction

  • This is a game obviously intended for kids. I'm not surprised you don't see the point in it, this game is NOT being marketed towards you. It's for kids. They love the Wii remote add-ons like the Wii racing wheel, the various tennis racket attachments, the Wii Zapper attachment, etc. Even though those are just pieces of plastic that only change the shape of the controller. The same reason they like these things is why they will like this game and the use of the stuffed toy as a controller.

  • @totakeke Ok your right the "reality and fiction" thing was a bit of a strawman argument. Your also right that I have a hard finding value in these things. But here's the reason, this kind of thing lacks something I have always valued about the videogames I played in my youth, nostalgic value. When I think about those games, I think about how fun they were and usually pull them out to play them again. Do you think kids will look back fondly on this, and want to play it again?

  • "Do you think kids will look back fondly on this, and want to play it again?"

My parents said the same thing about the N64. When I used to play kirby or smash bros, they said that the games were always lacking. I still play smash bros with friends because it's fun to to remember. It's nice to remember the old days when the N64 used to be revolutionary.

So, yes, I do think kids will look back fondly on this. I would definitely want to play this again if I were in their shoes.

  • @igotmypimpstick What kind of ridiculous argument is that? The DS is the next generation of the Gameboy, there was no DS 1990. The Gameboy is obsolete of course no one is buying it! And when did I state I had "better games"?

  • Comment removed

  • What I'm saying is, well look at this thing! Do honestly think an adult is gonna want to play THIS again? Your thinking that you can compare games to toys but you can't. Toys primarily target a specific age, videogames not so much. A adult is not going to go back and play with action figures when he's 20+ years old. But an adult will most likely be willing to go back and play Super Mario Bros.

  • oh so every game has to appeal to every age group according to you in order for it to be acceptable. if you think it's too childish then it has no business coming out for any system.

i'm glad you arent the one making decisions here then.

for a supposed adult (and i say supposedly because though you likely are one technically, you certainly dont come off as one when it pertains to this) to get this upset over a CHILDREN'S GAME is pretty pathetic.

  • That's exactly my point video games have a nostalgic power stronger than a childhood toy, because video games are something someone of any age can enjoy. I didn't say all games should be for all demographics, what I'm saying is THIS is not a video game. This is a ridiculous concept that should have been released as stand alone product and not on a gaming console.

  • i see a game here, with an original concept for control.

whether a kid playing this is going to be able to enjoy it when he/she's older is irrelevant. i'd bet you dont still enjoy every game you liked when you were a kid.

  • Depends what you define as a game, I played many education computer games in my youth, those no longer interests me. But I would hardly call them true games since their purpose was to teach and not entertain. I still very much play older videogame though As for dropping companies dropping support the Wii I'll send you links via IM, since youtube won't post links

  • i dont know how you cant call the footage in this trailer a game. i dont see it as anything but

  • It's called edutainment, it's a learning tool disguised as a game. That's what Leapfrog is and this belongs in the same category. As I said before the Wii's position as serious console is precarious at best, it doesn't need this kind of bad publicity

  • when did this become an educational game? i see nothing in the trailer to even imply that's what it is

  • And as for recognizing the difference between reality and fiction? You have to be kidding me. That could easily be said about video games in general. Why even buy a Wii for them then? Or a TV? Heck, don't let them get a pen and paper, they might start drawing things that aren't real.

  • if I had a son, I would buy this for him... And then I'll play it hidden from my wife.

  • Why the doll? That's my only question. I can see that they're trying to do something different, but there's just no real need for a doll of all things.

  • Yes, the kids could just smash the remote in the floor without the doll...

  • This is totally something I would buy for my little sister only so that I can play it myself, like Hannah Montana games :p Why yes, I do have the brain of a 5-year-old.

And I don't get it, why are people complaining about this game? It looks like a fun game for young kids. And putting it in through the mouth makes the wii remote a bit safer as zippers and velcro are easly broken.

  • i know right sounds kind fo fun, i mean an ornage doll that you make eat somthing non ediable then you get to control him? epic!

  • i'd play this game

  • Justice - D.A.N.C.E

  • Well this is certainly not going to improve the Wii's image as a serious console. Developers try so hard to make good games yet we get this kind of crap that screams kiddy. I want good games on my system, not junk that's going to make developers run for the hills.

  • Heaven forbid there be a wall between the main game consoles and leapfrog.

  • yeah because you know, this is the first child's game for the wii...

if it hurts your adult sensibilities so much, then you picked the wrong system. the wii has been viewed as a children's toy ever since it hit big. that, and it having wii sports. if you ever expected it to be taken seriously after that, you're delusional.

  • Your confusing a children's game with a casual game, how cute. The Wii has some great hardcore games on it, your just a delusional PS3/360 fanboy.

  • wow what a turn you just made. problem is that i dont even own a ps3, i barely touch my 360 anymore, and i play my wii pretty much on a daily basis these days. when did i say the wii didnt have great games?

i'm actually kind of disappointed that you resorted to the typical fanboy insult. i was beginning to think you were better than that.

not to mention you still have to explain how this is an educational game instead of being a platformer for little kids like it appears to be.

  • you may think i'm a delusional 360/ps3 fanboy, but you're just delusional apparently.

you couldnt have been more wrong in fact.

  • @JeremyRodriguez06 Well you did state the Wii wasn't being taken seriously, and regarded it as children's toy. I just interpreted what you said as meaning you don't take it seriously either. I guess I was a little off base sorry for that, and I guess I was wrong about the educational thing too. I think MetroidJunkie2007 said it best. We played better designed games in our youth, this this was not designed for 10 years olds this was designed for 2 year olds. I've had enough for now, gnight

  • it ISNT taken seriously, and it IS viewed as a kid's toy by many people. am i wrong for stating the unfortunate truth?

it's not the fault of the developer of wiiwaa or any other developer making kid-friendly games that the wii isnt seen as a viable console for more mature oriented games. it's the pompous developers like epic that are the problem. at least thats the way i see it.

  • You are not wrong for stating the truth, you are correct and wishful thinking will not change that fact. Arrogant developers who don't support the system are a major source of the problem, as are companies who create cheap cash ins. I won't buy Darkside, Umbrella, or Extraction because they are on-shooters, cash ins. But I also consider games like WiiWaa to be part of the problem as well, casuals can be fun, but this is worse than casual. These companies are just reinforcing the toy label.

  • i dont see anything wrong with the wii appealing to every age group including 5 year olds and i definitely see nothing wrong with developers making games for little kids either. hell, i had a good time playing some 6 flags game with my 5 year old cousin back in august. he destroyed me btw.

i pin the blame squarely on those in the industry (not just developers but review sites as well) who regard the wii as little more than a toy.

  • Ok so Arrogant Developers, Cheap Cash Ins, and Casual are all company styles that contributing to the problem of a failed system. Seriously, who's left in the list. The core of this game is that it isnt a toy to anyone who has more than 17 minutes of life experience. It is an elegant idea that bridges major barriers in the imagination. To children it becomes an exciting new way to interact AND gets to take that experience with them wherever they go in the doll. We are growing past 6 buttons

  • i wouldnt call the wii a failure. it may be to those who prefer "mature" games likeshooters and such, but it's hardly a failure.

it just suffers from a lot of the same problems the gamecube had, and that's lack of proper 3rd party support. it's not as bad this time, but when capcom creates a rail shooter RE instead of a real RE, and gets mad when it doesnt sell millions, then it's clear the problem still exists.

as far as wiiwaa is concerned, it looks interesting in regards to the controls.

  • one more thing, you sent me those links about sega and capcom being disappointed in the sales of their wii games.

i have to wonder if those exact same games were released on ps3 or 360 and sold just as poorly or worse, if they'd drop support of those systems. i think we both know they wouldnt.

if the developer makes a quality game, and markets it well, and still has low sales, then they can be upset. unfortunately, conduit, madworld, and darkside chronicles apparently werent good enough.

  • granted i only played madworld (and was really disappointed with it) but i know the general concensus was that conduit was average at best, and if umbrella chronicles was any indication of what darkside chronicles is like, then i'm not surprised it isnt doing well.

  • Well to be fair, the Wii, Xbox360, and PS3 are all toys.

  • I don't see how that logic works on calling JeremyRodiguez06 a PS3/360 fanboy when he is defending the Wii. That is like saying someone who is defending vanilla ice cream and calling them the biggest fanboy of chocolate.

  • I guess you missed the post where I apologized and said I was wrong.

  • @brian577 Oh! then came in a little late. My bad, I take it back

  • If that is the case then I shall go no further, my apologies.

  • There's a difference between kid friendly and toddler friendly. When I was a kid, I played games like Starfox 64, Donkey Kong 64, and Ocarina of Time and they had alot more meat than this. The game doesn't even look well designed, it looks like a very horribly designed Spore to me. If this is kid friendly, then the company has the same mindset as 4-kids, in that they're saying kids are stupid.

  • didnt ever say this game looked good? even for a kids game it doesnt look like it would be that much fun. i'm glad i'm not a kid in this day and age.

my point is that you guys are attacking the game on the basis of it being uber kid friendly, and that you're afraid that it'll somehow further tarnish the image of the wii being a kid's toy. at least that's the way i see it, and i dont agree with you.

  • I'm not saying this is the first game to make the Wii look bad as a serious gaming console, but this takes it to a higher level than any other game. Atleast most of the casual games seemed family orientated, not toddler orientated. This takes the already bad image of the Wii and magnifies it.

  • i dont know man. i'm sure games like ninjabreadman are far more damaging to the wii's reputation as a serious console.

wiiwaa may look cheap but i cant bring myself to hate it strictly because of the control scheme. but even graphically, it doesnt look THAT bad so i cant even hate on it in that regard either.

whatever nintendo did to garner the insane amount of support they get with the DS, they need to do with the wii. it cant be all about graphical or processing power.

  • Lots of my friends didn't enoy the games you list. Is it so wrong to create a game for them? If you're into bashing games, bash the entire nick series's instead. At least it's not another rip of nothing special. It looks innovative, and even watching my kid cousin play this would be entertaining.

In all seriousness though, no one cares that you had better games. The modern kid obviously isn't content with your metroid, mario, or kirby seeing as how the gameboy isn't selling shelves like the DS.

  • brian, what are you getting at? what does that have to do with anything? you're getting your panties in a twist over a simple children's game.

  • What's the name of the song and the artist/dj who plays it?

  • dance by justice

  • Actually, I think this is a neat idea!! lol

  • What the fuck am I watching?

  • @Broodstar1337 *tilts head and watches* I have noooooo fucking clue

  • I can see where the "sexual undertones" can be found, but other than shoving the remote down the thing's throat, nothing else is that sexual [unless you try hard]. Considering what the Wii remote has already been in trouble for [broken TVs, bodily injury], the easiest way is putting it in an already open but well contained area [won't easily fall out when dumped upside-down, as the roof of the mouth would stop that]. At least you don't shove it up the bum :)

  • go justice make that coin

  • I think you may be reading into this a bit much.

But then again, this is the internet!

  • No. You have no room to even call us sick fucks for pointing out an obvious sexual undertone in this. There are lots of other methods to putting the Wiimote inside the plushie (open up the back and put it in, sealed with velcro, etc), but the choice to shove it down the thing's throat was made and thus will be accompanied by whatever observations are made.

  • It'd be easier to produce it with an open mouth than with a zipper on the back.

  • This is like the red-headed step child version of the Natal....not that the Natal is any better but this is just bat-shit crazy!

  • I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE it!

  • HAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!

  • This is.. kinda cute.

  • @thisisagreatusername I agree :)

  • It's not the game but the applications of making peripherals for games to better interact with games.

  • So you'll probably like it.

    lololololol im so funy

  • not just the kids, the shareholders as well I guess ;)

  • hmmm the shareholders will probably force their kids to play with it hahah

  • this will be a huge hit!!

  • I'm super psyked for this game!

I'm a pretty hardcore gamer with all 3 current gen systems, but this looks like this is the Wii done right. I can't wait for this one.

  • LMFAO THAT'S SUCHA RUDE GAME

  • What's that song? I like it

  • D.A.N.C.E - Justice

  • WAGGLAN

  • omg i wants so bad

  • CASUAAAAAAALS!

  • Game of the years all years

  • im calling it.... This song has another meaning backwards. This will be an "evil" game because of the backwards meaning.

  • it says "kill your parents, kill your parents, you know you'll like it, kill your parents" when played backwards

  • Wow, a new and creative idea for the wii! AND JUSTICE MUSIC! Kids'll love this.

  • "OMG this game isn't made for my specific interests so it must be terrible waaaaaaah!"

This looks really cute and creative :D I hope the execution makes it en
