The music group "WAR" has a unique and defining sound.
The harmonica, harp is what makes WAR's sound, so incredible, but this group is the same band that was here in Chicago's Hyde Park Festival in July / August of 2011. I know because I've had the pleasure of being on this drum set.
The front bass drum head was taken off as Mike Roman & The Tellstars took the stage and it put back on so WAR could perform. They even brought in Lee Oskar.

BB Dickerson sings lead on this song. Hmm.....don't seem to see him here. Oh yeah, that's because he is currently with the 3 other OG's of WAR who now have to go by the LOWRIDER BAND, because the WAR name was stolen from them! You are watching a WAR cover band people. Don't let WAR's owner, Jerry Golddigger, steer you in the wrong direction, like he once did me. The LOWRIDER BAND is the REAL DEAL of WAR, the band. Peace.

Thanks for letting me know. I performed at the Hyde Park Festival in Chicago, IL and these are the same people that took the stage after Mike Roman & The Tellstars. Read my response and yes! you're right about the original members being out of the picture. This keyboard player is nothing without the other members who've worked so hard to earn their right to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Fight for the original members right to be in the HALL of FAME>
