  • @ass5r5 i didn't understand this comment. i was too busy watching your mom gargaling my man milkshake.

  • @david062172 Real mature

  • @EmilyDeely123 You are right. My post was immature. I didn't like ass5r5 making a disparaging remark about Bradford. My Bad.

  • boy with the sun in his head

  • is nice forever..

  • ooohhh my......stereolab anyone.....lol

  • why does it even matter? none of you know him personally so don't bother wasting it on details. the music is by far enough.

  • the best , is nice for ever.

  • Awesome how Brad got Latitia Sadier and Noah Lennox to perform on the album. When I first heard this song I thought it had to be someone other than him singing, but I've got to say Brad sings so high I wouldn't be surprised if this was him.

  • This reminds me of how great Stereolab is.

  • where consciousness is higher

    taken through a costly process

    of success and failure

i thought saints were born saints

    i looked in the dirt

    and found wisdom is learnt

    through a costly process

  • i wanted to live the life of a prince

because I thought saints were born saints

so indeed we didn't stand a chance

    insalubrious offshoots of nature

with heart and mind of our own

all the daughters all the sons

taking centuries to unearth the creature

    heralding a stage

  • @brianelectro What is there that cannot be afforded besides maturity on your behalf?

  • Such a good song!

  • Love this song.

Marfan's syndrome causes one to have their chest cave in like that?

  • Marfan's syndrome can cause an assortment of irregularities to occur. It usually causes excessive bone growth which we see with his arms and fingers. The chest depression you're talking about is a condition called pectus excavatum, which can be caused by this overgrowth of the rib bones. However, you don't have to have Marfans syndrome in order to have this chest cave effect. There are tons of people including myself who don't have marfans syndrome, but have pectus excavatum.

  • @pbturkey2 yes and there are varying degrees of pectus excavatum as having marfans my self I have this but no where near as bad as are friend bradford

  • One of my favorite songs in the past couple of years - no lie!

  • Ah, what the golden throat of Ms. Sadier can do for you...

This is made for the stars.

  • I think I just cried on the inside...I LOVE this!

And shame on you for even suggesting that I might not, lol!

  • middle finger

  • idiot

  • okay, "guy"...

  • Bradford Cox is a Genius, plain and simple. That's my take on this collaborative masterpiece, and that''s final.

  • Comment removed

  • great song! Latitia Sadier from Stereolab rocking on this one!

and Bradford Cox is like that cause i punched him in the chest!

  • ssoooo, what do you think about the song?

  • @holyjesus75 - tone down the pedantic rant a bit. hellend23 is actually correct about it being Marfan's Syndrome. Bradford Cox has spoken about it in several interviews.

  • From the photo here this definitely represents a sign of "Pigeon Chest" a physical disorder that makes the person susceptible to heart conditions.

    -13

  • no you idiot it is ass burgers syndrome

  • You think it's called ''ass burgers syndrome''? that's hilarious. It's called Asperger sydrome and your wrong. The person in this pictures suffers from ''Marfan syndrome''

  • @Hellend23 ~ Actually you are both wrong, it is a disease called Simon Frampton's Disorder. I first read about it in a book written by Oliver Sacks.

So, why don't you and Elleybelley91 do yourselves a favor and open up a book or two - before you go spouting off misinformation on youtube about rare disorders and pigeons riding biopsies when there are people out there that have to live like this every day.

    Think about it.

  • Actually, if you cared enough to read about this band you would know that the frontman Brandon Cox, who is infact the person in this picture, suffers from Marfan syndrome.

  • Woops didn't see the comment below. Enough said.

  • Actually, if you cared enough to read about this band you would know that the frontman, who is infact the person in this picture, is actually called Bradford Cox.

  • I know. My mistake

  • @Hellend23 no it is ass burgers, a quite rare, but easily treated, disease

  • None of you know what you're talking about. This is pectus excavatum which is the opposite of pidgeons chest, which sticks out instead of in. Bradford also has Marfans syndrome, which is likely the cause of his pectus deformity.

  • brillant

  • I love this track. Laetitia Sadier's vocals complement the music perfectly. A BIG fave of 2009 for me.

  • Damn i love Laetitia....

  • This song is so beautiful there are no words to describe it.

    It touches me deeply.

    Sounds like love.

  • Looks like Bradfords body on the album cover....

    He looks unhealthy =/

Anyways this song and this album is incredible

  • He has Marfan Syndrome. Its possible that Abe Lincoln also had this genetic disorder. Apparently it makes you really tall, really skinny, and really badass.

  • @skizzle555 Also awkward gait and and bone, especially jaw, structure is characteristic.

  • @skizzle555 word

  • @skizzle555 That pretty much sums it up!

  • @skizzle555 hahaha. That was an awesome comment.

  • @skizzle555 well put, all of his work musically is great (admittedly I've not listened to cryptograms yet). This song is so bliss

  • @skizzle555

    rofl

    :]

  • @skizzle555

    HAHA! badass

  • @skizzle555 hahha

  • Read a interview with him explaining he has some disease/malfunction that prevents him from putting on any weight. Don't remember . . . perhaps some digestion issue.

  • This is the best song on this album, without a doubt. Thanks Bradford! Thanks Laetita!

  • this is my fav album of the year and hasn't even come out yet... SO EXCITED, 2 more weeks i think... i've heard 4 songs now and can't think of anything aside of maybe animal collective and the deerhunter ep. that match this... fantastic.. Bradfox cox thank you.........

  • lots of guests on this album... he must have much cred in the scene

  • brilliant song.Hope there will be a clip for this piece!
