@rootbound420 that 'nerd' is probably a lot smarter then you. not only will he help prevent permanent hearing loss which happens from every concert u go to, but he probably realised the music sounds BETTER when plugged. I wear ear plugs to gigs because i want to preserve my tone sensitivity & it sounds better! it takes all the crap noise out and lets through clearer sound. not being dumb doesnt make you a nerd.

@RisingForce64 - Hehe, yeah, but in his defence, I was at Joe Satriani years ago at Llewellyn Hall and the ONLY way I could actually hear the notes Satch was playing was to block my ears. Otherwise all I got was screeching distortion noise. Fingers in ears, fine, could hear every note. The hall was designed for orchestra, am told.

Yngwie is great! No q about it. Like for so many others he's the main reason I got into playing the guitar. However...and sadly...here he totally slaughtered his number one composition :( sloppy, noisy, out of rythm and too much improvising, in my op. I know YM is Mr. Improvise "never-play-the-same-solo-twic­e" but i wish he would stick to the written elements in the song and let the crazy-ass improvised guitarmasturbation hit us in "solopart" of the tune.

Baroque is also performed a bit out in the blue, I think but he plays it with better timing (except for the very first segments) and intensity than FBTS. Anyhow, he doesn't have his best day of playing during the taping of the show. With this said... \m/ to YM!! He's still the greatest neo-guitarist thru' all times :)

The guitarist of this band is called Walter Giardino, he is GREATLY influenced by Malmsteen and "a lot" of his songs sound very similar to his. Influenced or copycat?
