it ought to break your heart, while some of us have the money to spend on luxuries, others die of hunger. We are all human beings for god sake, why cant the rich share their money so that every human can live a "human" life. No matter if the person is lazy or addict or whatever, humans must live decent lives, period. This world ought to end in 2012 for the sake of a better world ! karma!

i really don't get it

America has that USAID to help people in other countries. Why they don't help their own people???? I think most of the homeless wants to live in the street because they are addicts, they don't want a clean house without drugs and alcohol. Then the state should send all these people to rehab, they like it or not, but liberals will start their crap about human right abuses and blah blah blah

I had to leave the US decades ago -- couldn't get healthcare at any price, and my baby died. Worked for years, paid into the system. Was homeless in NYC during the coldest winter on record there. Had a Wall Street job to keep me going, they fired me when they found out I was pregnant. Have had to send money year after year to support my family in the Rust Belt.
