if you two had someone good to direct you then it would be brilliant but its a hard song for people to fully understand in like 3 mins. better to do a different song or massive production like the film. but still brilliant with what you had :)
oh you guys shut up and leave these performers alone! You's were great, if the key was different in certain sections i'm sure it would have been perfect, but it was still a cacking performance! Moulin rouge is a really hard soundtrack to pull off and you did a great version! Ignore these "self-acclaimed critics", who probably cant even sing, uz did the music proud!(y)
You know, I noticed that all guys who sing Christian's part can's sing properly "We should be lovers" part. They just can't sing as high as he. When he was singing "We should be loooo-oovers and that's a fact" it was so beautiful and moving... And that was barely correct.
Whole performance was ruined by the guy doing the "Love lifts us up" portion. Piss poor timing, overuse of vibrato. Overall, a typical couple of "concert choir" singers.
haha, we wished that we had had like head mics or just been hand-holding them... We had a whole thing set up then we got out there and there were just two mics on stands like 10 feet away from each other
No chemistry? That's funny since we were together then...no, no, chemistry was not our problem, there were outside reasons why we had to act like basic strangers...
the girl she sems like she has really pretty voice but she was kinda quiet and didnt know the words that well but that might be cause she wasnt as close to the mic as the guy
Ugh... everyone is saying things like "You guys suck!" and "learn to sing!". I thought it was funny how you looked to the tech guys going "WTF?" Good job! I thought it was great! It didn't have to be perfect, so, everyone giving you sh*t for it are just full of it. Good job again!
very good but i wish you would have walked around. dude your good but just dont force stuff jsut let it flow. ewan is amazing b/c it just comes out naturally do that and you will b a lot better and come on you can hit those high notes c'mon. girl is good but she is too shaky
Yeah, I have a much better range now, but I'm still a bass. Ewan is amazing... Although he gets computerized help, the bastard. We couldn't really walk around b/c of the mic placement, we actually had kind of a routine planned out before we realized that.
Yeah. The only reason Ewan sounds so amazing is because its been edited so much. Also most actors can sing because they study performing arts which is acting, dancing and singing.
Well, DUH! that's how you get good, AND no, actually, he didn't get help. I worked on the camera crew, and he specifically asked NOT to have computerize-acappela. Which is what that is called.
Dude's an awesome singer, sounds almost exactly like Ewan Mcgregor.
