thanks for uploading this masterpiece. but Eloy is not from Krautrock scene that much. they are progressive rock with psychedelic/space rock approach. to mention, you can name some bands of that time like CAN and Amon Duul as kraut rock but not Eloy. great upload anyway ;)

Frank Bornemann and his friends are genious's, Nearly everything they did is amazing. They are underated. Unfortunately it has been several years since they released anything. Nearly ten years. Meanwhile the rap and disco animals like Madonna and Byonce are persisting with garbage music.

Musically great! But I always wondered why European bands like eloy kept on trying to bring lyrical sense into their music. Sounds silly to a native english speaker - in form and content ;)

Yes, I agree with this comment. To native English it's a bit "over the top". I know it's typical of seventies prog rock -especially European. ...the timing and spacing of the lyrics just doesn't work well with the music. It's too 'wordy'.

I agree. It might have not worked in German, even if many bands today show that German is not that harsh as it seems to be. Eloy simply had no support from a native speaker. Their lyrics became much better when they found one.

@statementallity: As a German I see Rammstein rather as a caricature or comic cartoon of Germanity which to my surprise seems to work very well in the English speaking world. Nobody in Germany speaks or sings in the way Rammstein do in their songs. Does German really sound so harsh to foreign ears when you're listening to Nena, Hubert Kah or Silbermond? They're much more represantative for the sound of German language in a pop song. Eloy and their cerebral lyrics are typical for German hippies.
