When someone gets down to around 3.5-4k, I inner focus mind blast, shadow word death. Almost always takes them down. I'm a shadow priest tho. P.S. Shadow word death doesn't "tick" you fake priest :p

and just on a side note, not all my chars are on alliance, ive a few on horde too and tbh it is more fun (grudge against gnomes =/ mostly) but there are more unfriendly dicks on the horde than alliance from what ive played of the game.

WoW, very nice! Disc are definetley very much for survivability and can withstand a LOT more PVP... Shadow on the otherhand for PVE is quite helpful with the Misery proc and vampiric touch/embrace in raids...

dpx: wtf are you talkin about!!! shadow priests do ahelluva lot more dmg than disc priest. no you do not get shadow spells besides sw:p etc.. 15% extra shadow dmg is nice not to mention extra spell dmg from shadow weaving, darkness and misery. i could rant forever but i won't. imo disc makes a solid arena spec, shadow pvp/pve spec and arena just depends on your group.

yeah, same here. my gear sucks (55 disc priest) and was able to beat a 61 pally 10 times in a row. the pally wasn't that great, but still... it shows you the power of the disc priest, especially against heavy melee (non shamans..lol)

shadow priests hardly do more damage imo, if ur disc u still have all the shadow spells minus the +15% damage done and -15% damage receved wich isnt much, and with disc u have all the disc xpells, holy, spells, and shadow spells, meaning u can do good damage and still heal urself and others

Shadow Priests do a lot more damage... I am talking from experience having over 1100 shadow damage. The problem is they have virtually no survivability and have been turned into a PVE class. If your wanting fun PVP action, Definately roll a discipline priest. A Shadow Priest will end up frustrating you.

I wouldn't say it takes the most skill. It's more like there's more for someone who knows the class to explore with in the spec. If you spec 43/5/13 you get mind flay included, and got one more spell to play with witch is really usefull. but yeah, it takes more skill and than fear, dot, silence and nuke ;p

If you do your damage with shadow spells counterspell, kick, pummel, spell lock... it wont affect as much as if you're only at spamming smite and using sahdow word pain to do all your damage.
