I heart tornadoes, but they are deadly, we should have "Batteries,Radio,Candles,Match­es, Flash light,Blankets or mattresses,and a Bottle of Water to save your life.

Candles should NOT be a part of the safety/first aid kit! Due to the extreme likelihood of gas leaks in the area, there should not be unnecessary open flame encouraged.(there will be enough of that to go around already!). What should be STRONGLY encouraged (AND assisted) is the correct building and proper outfitting of private/public safe structures.
