the gt3 is all about purist ppl...like me...if you want naturally aspirated engine, stig shift not the stupid flappy paddles, no turbos!! so no lag or unreliability at the track...and a super magical sound!! besides that 3.8 makes like 420hp which is the most powerfull 3.8 naturaly aspirated engine you can get and it was developed at lemans racing so is tested! call me old...but thats what I like. Besides turbos are overrated naturally aspirated shows what the company really can do!!

i honestly don't think the gt3 is that fantastic. a gt2 is faster on the road and on the track for less money even the porsche website verifies that. and what's really stupid is the fact that the stock gt3 is faster than the gt3 rs a car that is lighter and designed for the track. with all other companies the opposite is true, ferrari f430 scuderia is faster than the standard f430, lamborghini gallardo superlegerra is faster than the standard gallardo lp560 porsche makes amazing cars i'll admit

Secondly, the gt3 rs is faster than gt3. It has an extra 30 or so hp and is lighter.

yeah on their website the gt2 is listed as having a higher top speed (admittedly by 1mph but still) and a faster track time than both the gt3 and the gt3rs, the gt3 is also listed as faster w/ a faster track time then the g3rs. the gt3rs is garunteed to be faster through the corners cause it is lighter but it is even listed as having less power. i'm not disputing that this is a good car, just sayin

i think u dont know anything about cars, espcially porsche. first of all, the gt2 costs about 200.000 euro, the gt3 115.00, the rs about 145.000. the gt3 has 435 hp, rs 450, gt2 530, where the gt3 models are alredy new, the gt2 is the one from 2005 (?). and the rs is definately faster than the gt3. concerning the lack of power, well, how come a porsche with less power is faster around the nurburgring than a ferrari.....its not only the size that matters...

ok on the porsche official website with the us prices for the cars the gt2 is cheaper, i don't know about the european ones because i haven't looked at those. and i realize that size isn't all that matters. the top track speed of the gt3 is listed 194, the top track speed of the gt3 rs is listed 193 which isn't really a measurable differance i was just noting that it was

I don't like how other car companies are changin' the body styles drastically on their moderls, like for example the new Nissan Skyline GTR...not feelin' it. Earlier generations look a lot better. the gtr has the same hp but is heavier but still whoops the 911 turbo to 60, 1/4 mile, and is only 1 second slower than the carrera gt @ the nurburgring, its all because the gtr has that fancy all wheel drive system, porsche has its work cut out for them to catch nissan.

Well, Ferdinand Porsche initially designed for vw. He started a design team of his own, where he developed two commuter car models which he sold to vw and they ended up being "the first" vw beetles. The body design was then reconsidered a bit as the Porsche design firm came to be known with their first road certified car being the 356 model 1 what looks more like a cousin to the beetle.

The GT2 is pretty much like the Turbo, only slightly more powerful, RWD and it has stiffer suspension. The GT3 is pure racing car, it has engine which revs to 8400 rpm, it's the purest Porsche of all.
