@comincoachny9 fishman rare earth i think, with some kind of microphone in his guitar. when i saw him live he had 2 preamps-one for the mic and one for the pickup. cant remember what make they were though-might have been lrbaggs para di
so i was cruising through the andy mckee playlist, and came across this thomas leeb bloke. after listening to his song desert pirate i relized... i stumbled upon a footprint of a god...
Just because you don't like the song, doesn't mean it's bad. It's a rhythmically challenging piece and it's very unique.
And just because something is in a different genre, doesn't automatically make it more/less difficult. Music is as hard as you make it; there are some technically demanding jazz songs, and there are some technically simply ones - which is the same with just about any style of music.
If it is so technically easy, why don't you learn it and post a video of it on youtube.
Yes I do. This is fairly technical music. That stupid ass techno song was not. And I'd say this is more technical than "almost any jazz song" (though I agree technical jazz is pretty much the most complicated shit ever)
first off you have asshole in your name so I can't even insult you there. second, this is 10x more technical than the stupid techno keyboard video you favorited
@GuitarAddict420 wewt came back to watch this video and realized that i had the highest rated comment! lol what a surprise! this song still gives me goosebumps
You really are an asshole.... assholebjorn. You can't decide what music is good or not, if you think this is simple, turn on the radio... now thats simple music. Anyway, i guess you haven't studied music history. It's impossible to discuss what the definition "music" means, and what it will express. People have discussed and fought over this for centuris, and im 100% sure that you're lousy intellect will NOT lead this discussion to an agreement. ......
I'm planning on (attempting to play) playing this at a concert at school that i'm arranging, but i need to turn my acoustic into an electro acoustic... can anyone help?? i don't really want to have to buy a whole new guitar, but magnetic pickups wont pickup the tapping/scratching etc... or will they?! i dont know. is there anywhere where i can get it turned into an electro-acoustic guitar? help's appreciated, i know nothin about pickups...
Recently fitted a k & k pickup to my daughters taylor. it's just 3 tiny microphones which are superglued underneath the bridge, terminating in the jack plug. this will make your guitar sound much more like its intended to, than any semi acoustic guitar can. Piezo pickups built in give a very artificial sound, Andy Mckee uses the k and k system, hope this helps
to clarify - somebody initially commented 'good but he's no Newton Faulkner' to which I posted my amused response above. That guys original comment is now marked as spam and now it looks like I'm subscribing to the 'Leeb's much better than Faulkner' school of thought of other people's posts.
