Rainbow Gathering has always been a beautiful experience for me. One Love to ALL . We are all ONE and we seem to lack that knowledge. Rainbow Gathering stands for UNITY. People that see a whole bunch of "hippies" doing drugs in the woods... you see through eyes not heart, you don't see the people experiencing positive vibes & love. If anyone should be complaining, it should be that we barely have nature preserve left and most of it is being used for bombing zones... yeah think about that. x

when you "pray for peace" people leave an area, why don't you stay to take care of it. and don't tell me you do. it takes years for land to get the growth back it once had before you came and destroyed it. if your going to pray and dance and do drugs, find somewhere where you leave no aftermath. i also thought you are to be one with mother earth. well then start showing it and quit making this an excuse to do drugs........YFP'sOS
@windygorge1 uhh first off all drugs are based solely off of nature, usually grown along with nature, and Hemp is the best natural way to live and manufacture, Most drugs are just artificially made, but react kindly with nature.

@hedphuqr23 The problem with your statement is, most of the people there do not live in "Babylon" at all. They venture into towns for supplies and to sell their handmade goods to make money, but they travel to the next gathering. This goes on all year round from national park to national park. They live at the gathering, not in "Babylon."
You don't have to agree with what they do, but this is America, and they can do it if they like.

It's quite a ways past Woodland, Upriver towards Mt St Helens. Woodland is the exit you want off the freeway though :)
