Im not saying the car control is realistic, but it is much improved from previous versions... Just because i said that doesnt exactly mean i was refering to the video
if it is not improved in terms of degree of real-ness, then what's the improvement? there are so many videos around that show how the cars fly around the track like they were boats, now tell me how "improved" that is to you.
and i know ID3 sucks, but that doesn't mean this version is better with that thing you called drifting
The game is improved in realism, but it doesnt make it realistic, instead of shifting gears up near the screen they've moved it down to a realistic position, Shifting gears is also improved, so when you go in to a drift you cant downshift to make your drift better.....
And the game isnt exactly made to be..... REALISTIC! Just look at what the game is based off of, an anime show based on drifting. people play this game for its simple controls and because its fun!

Yeah i understand what you are saying, but the thing about speed reduction while drifting is roughly the same in both games. Im sure there many are people out there who would rather play ID3, but seeing what they did improve on makes it so that people will play the game, even if the changes are only minor.... as with almost all games.... I do understand where you are coming from also though
Why dont you look up some information on this game, It may not be the most realistic racing game out there, but keep this in mind.... It's A GAME! and it is meant to be fun... its not trying to be a realistic driving simulator like Gran Turismo or Forza... When people want to play those games thats what they pick up!
wind i dont even think u know wat initial D system is... InitialD Arcade Stage 4 is racing version for arcade system n previous version of InitialD Arcade Stage 3 so part 4 own probably come out until November 2007
it is acrade game called initial d. the video ur watching is the latest ver. at japan. also to record, u can connect VCR recorder directly to the game mechine so u can recored it clearly..
