I agree with you. I have many questions, not so much about Obama but the Democratic Congress and what he represents. I just didn't care for such a blatant comparison with Hitler, and I felt that the label fit the Republican leadership just if well if not better. We have a grand problem in the US. It's enough to make you want to bow out of the political picture. It will take an incredible disaster far beyond the economic crisis to redefine the country. I wish we had let the banks fail.

Given enough time, such a threat could surface here. If it weren't true, why is anyone making a video warning of the same supposed outcome with Obama in charge? I don't doubt your claims, mainly because I don't know enough about them to do so. What I do know is that most liberal democratic regimes don't have the spine to carry out such a hostile takeover of individual liberties. That danger is borne of populist movements much like the states' power proponents momentum in the U.S. today.

The United States is a constitutional republic(could also be called a democratic republic), not a democracy. In a democracy, citizens personally vote on the issues. In our form of government we elect public officials to vote on the issues for us.

do not forget that the military at his disposal is comprised of us citizens, i shudder to think that upon the command of this man that they would turn on the people they are sworn to protect. never allow yourself to be blinded, never allow yourself to be stripped of your freedom. Americas eye is averted not blind, so call your senators, talk to your neighbors, the eye of the American people need only be shown to look the right direction

i cant stand all theese bush haters. i think bush was a good president not a great one but no where near the worst.. the man had to deal with 9/11, hurricane katrina, and war.. lets say if we didnt invade iraq what would you ppl be saying if sadam was alive today strengthening his military and posing even more so of a threat. i will say he is a horrible public speaker. but last time i checked actions speak louder than words.. rip all soldiers who have lost their lives.

sadam had complete totalitarian control over the iraqi people, if things in this world worked that way the ussr would have collapsed after 20 years, rather than clinging to life for over 70 before the morels of the Russian presidents finally brought it down. Oh, I am VERY well learned in history, my friend, but I happen to subscribe to some kind of approximation of the truth as opposed to a delusional nether-world where American troops are deployed purely to *benefit* the very people whose countries they occupy, upon whose homes they drop bombs, and whose natural resources are handed over to US corporations via corrupt deals with puppet governments.

Obama is nothing like Hitler was. Obama's followers are not like Hitler's followers were except that they're excited about a leader. Obama is way different than Hitler: Obama is anti-military and Hitler was a military leader. If anything, Bush was a lot like Hitler- invading other countries is one big example.
