@CessnaKitty152 Animation pioneer Max Fleisher (Betty Boop, Popeye and Koko the Clown) created the first motion pictures to put a cartoon character into the live action set, and Walt Disney was inspired to do the opposite- put the live actor into the cartoon set. So Walt, Ub Iwerks, and a few other guys made a short film starring a little girl named Alice (played by Virginia Davis) who dreams about a place called "Cartoonland" after visiting Walt's studio. It was made in 1923.
Great ! In Japan famously Cartoon maker Osamu Tezuka was watched thi movie in japan. Then he was make cartoon after WW2 in japan. Walt Disny was ansester for japanese Amination.
@Tailikku1 I think it was Jimmie MacDonald. You see, this episode aired in 1955, and Walt was 99% done with Mickey's voice. The last time Walt did Mickey's voice was for the openings and closings to "The Mickey Mouse Club". Other than that, Jimmie MacDonald was doing the mouse's voice.
The next walt Disney has to be out there somewhere disney's personality and love for drawing can't be gone forever.... he/she has to be out there I just know it!!
@FakeCatvalentine That's my future goal in life! To be the next Walt Disney! So within I want to say, 10 years (if I'm lucky), look for the name Brian Slatky. Okay? Okay.
@bslatky yeah me too! I just got into classical animation school at it absolutely rocks! Just goes to show that there are people wanting to be like Disney. I want a classic animation revival movement!!!
umm... what?

LuigiMario98982 1 year ago
@LuigiMario98982 Either a) that was Walt whistling again, or b) it was Jimmy MacDonald redubbing it.
