@soundseeker63 Unfortunately FSOL was a very pretentious group. Don't get me wrong, I own all there work on wax and collected the AA stuff too. Check 'Modulations' the movie. That being said, there music is still fresh 20 years later...
@djcarrera1 yep came to say the same thing. I want a tutorial on how they did this track....FSOL, Underworld, Photek, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Benn Jordan to name a few are legends
@adrenacrumb I happen to like the stuff he did as Acidwolf, if that's ok. Squarepusher typically doesn't do 303 squelches because he's too busy w/his bass.
@adrenacrumb Lol, that's Squarepusher's little bro...so it's still very Warp Records. It's just that like with Def Jux and Zen Cuts and all those sorts of labels the sound homogenized and I can't listen to much IDM because AFX, Squarepusher, Autechre and Boards of Canada basically created an empire.
@adrenacrumb I could say the same with D+B with DJ Dara, AK1200 and Dieselboy as a collective sealing the deal in america at least. Even outside that you can't hear a track and not have it remind you of Future Prophecies, TeeBee, Photek, etc.
Hey everybody - I just released my solo album "Mirror Image" that contains electronic upbeat and ambient songs heavily inspired by The Future Sound of London. If you're interested you can check out the songs on my youtube page, and links to my myspace page and places to download the full album are on my youtube channel as well :) .

My middle name is Kai. :-)
FSOL are the only band I can think of that could call themselves "Future"...anything and it not sound pretentious.
It's like music still isn't as refined now as they were back then.

1994/5 they made this track.this proves they are way before their time as dubstep was born more than a decade later.i miss them loads ,groundbreaking

@numbstateofennui Don't know how benn jordan got in there but I assure you he is no legend. He ripped off way too much squarepusher.

@numbstateofennui acidwolf is okay but ceephax acid crew is better. flexe is probably his best work.

@numbstateofennui Not sure how it is warp records, he has never released anything on there. Dieselboy hardly ever makes his own music.

@numbstateofennui Now squarepusher, he is a legend..... flashbulb not so much.
